With a decent amount of posters for both sides I think we can justify our own thread.

Firstly there is a risk of Notts Manager situation spreading onto many threads so it’d be nice to avoid that in this one too.

So now we can say what formation we want and include loan players as well so I think 3 at the back with Duffy replaced. 1 defensive midfield sat just behind a midfield 4 and 2 up top. We need a tackler next to Vaughan.

So hopefully 2 loans (frees) in before Saturday. I’ll reserve my score prediction until we see what happens.

We're the draw specialists atm, bit more clinical and we could have won them all. Still unbeaten but it's gonna be a tough one this.

Not the best time to be playing Notts, always get a reaction with a new manager and they've got too many good players to keep losing.

Last year we pissed on their bonfire at Meadow Lane in front of one of their biggest crowds of the season, hopefully we can do the same this time.

Wouldn’t surprise me if FGR won this. They’re not bad at all.

FGR don't look a bad team this year. We are lacking men in our team who stick in a firm tackle and impose themself. We have shite like Husin who must have incriminating photos of someone to get selected and Vaughen who I'm not totally convinced can be arsed to continue playing football. Hopefully the new manager changes things but there's enough out of work managers in Appleton Bowyer and Ferguson who have won promotion out of this league available without going for Harry Kewell from Crawley.

Lose this and I can see the crowd turning on this team as patience is in short supply after the lack of battle effort and commitment in the second half at Lincoln.

Kewell has a two year contract. We always sell though.

5 draws (in 90 minutes) already this season. Skybet 3/1 draw btts looks a decent shout. 5's for a 1-1 and 12's for a 2-2.

We could have as many as 5 new signings today a mixture of loans and Free’s and they will all be in positions we are desperate to sure up.

The manager is going to be Kewell so whilst I am not entirely happy about it, he seems almost a carbon copy of Nolan with maybe more emphasis on working the ball better. What Kewell will give us is a better tactical knowledge and be able to make substitutes to change an area of the pitch.
Nolan lacked that unfortunately.

Anyway going to wait till we see who these signings are before putting my deck down.

If Kewell reproduces what he did at Crawley stand by for some tippy tappy bollocks followed by an almighty cock up at the back and your net bulging.

Nice of our feeder club Crawley to let us have their manager and Milsom back. Becoming a lower league version of Liverpool raiding Southampton time and time again just with more depressing results!

WRONG.
If Christian had gone last season that would have been true but not anymore.
Including Doidge five FGR players have scored this season.
The whole FGR squad is playing very good football. I'm not depressed about losing him, although obviously would have been happy to have kept him.
Besides the huge sum from Bolton will put FGR fully in the black and it is better than perhaps losing him to an injury.
Have no worries Chris

Makes the game more interesting.
County will be at their best to impress new manager while FGR will be at best to show they can still win without Doidge.
I'm really looking forward to the match.

Boudwijn, Hewitt, Vaughan , Milsom is a pretty good midfield.
A fit Tootle , Hall ,Brisley and Jones playing like he did last season isn't a bad defence.
Two of Hemmings,Dennis ,Stead and maybe Campbell should score goals.
Milsom along with Forte was badly mid / under used last season and I'm glad he's back.
Win, 3-1. Doidge a massive loss for FGR.

You hope. I don't see anything but a long haul to Christmas unless this 19 year old from Ipswich is any good.

Who will likely come in for Doidge?

A kid. Either that or we'll go with Reuben Reid as a no.9, which isn't really his game or failing that we'll play a false 9, which would most likely be George Williams. Team set up around Doidge for the last 2 and a bit seasons, so playing without him will be a big change.

Ta. What about Tahvon Campbell? Was pretty useless for us but played well for you against us last season at TNL

Having seen who we have available I think we’ll shade this 2-1, hopefully a good game of football but I have a feeling it might be a little scrappy.

Kewell didn’t play a whole lot of 442 last year. There will be muttering in the Pavis stand.

Gerrit forward to be shouted most from the Kop

I think the likelihood of Doidge's departure has been effecting our ability to form an effective sticking force, certainly they have not been settled.

Maybe we can adjust, difficult to see how, very few strikers have the knack and composure to put half chances away. (Doidge did). We've already witnessed a host of scorable chances spurned from a variety of players. So we'll just have to see. I'm expecting plenty of changes to the strike force and a series of poor results over the next couple of months. I doubt this is Cooper's fault though, more a business decision, there is no bottomless pit of money now. We'll have to wait until January now to sort this out!

My season ticket feels a bit more flimsy right now.

Confidence is sure to take a dip, first defeat today I think.

Lots of teams have predicted a defeat against Notts this season, sadly it hasn’t happened once yet!

Wish the new manager had been in longer for this but, he can observe from the stands. Extra effort no doubt but will that be enough without him being able to work new things into the players

Not sure what formation we are playing. Could be Hawkridge at right back or centre mid
