We'd have bottled that when Notts got the goal back if this was last season. So much more a team, think we'll be OK even without Doidge. McGinley sounded solid on his debut too.

If the worse happened for Notts fans Adam and we get relegated can you recommend some non league pubs to visit pre game. I’m guessing you must know a fair few having watched non league football for a few seasons?! Ta

Wow. Harry Kewell has a big job on his hands. This is a shower of shite. We are in a relegation battle this year. You can’t concede goals this consistently and be anywhere but in a dog fight.

Is a Kewell the right man for a dog fight? Time will tell

The one game Mark Crossley era was amazing, absolute banter all over the pitch.

That was a pretty damning indictment on this division, to be honest. We were playing about six out of position from the start, at one point had three out and out strikers on the pitch with ten men, and for some reason were playing the last ten minutes with about four people trying to play on the left wing.

Forest Green played their part by absolutely shitting themselves for about fifteen minutes against a ten man team playing a 3-1-5 formation, and the referee also made a succession of absolutely absurd mistakes (the red was right though).

My dad often says that he doesn’t know what a manager actually does, but Notts so far this season are a great example of eleven footballers sent out onto the pitch at random. Nolan has got an awful lot to answer for - we have no shape, no pattern, don’t know what style of football we’re supposed to be playing, and have no idea what formation we’re supposed to be playing. Fuck knows what he was doing in pre-season.

Kewell is onto a winner, i’m pretty sure that I could improve on the standard of coaching they’ve had this summer.

Fair play, we all had a good laugh at the Mansfield circus last season, that’s football, at least you give us hope things can be turned around.

As for us, I am still reasonably confident we will at least finish above Macc and Morecambe this season!
