Bizarrely I've just been emailed from administrators working to sell Paragon. The company weren't named but how many Midlands based interior design companies with a £50 million turnover are in administration as of today? If they're contacting me they are truly desperate, I've more chance of going into space on Richard Bransons rocket.....as the pilot.
We're so fucked. Just starting next season with a team and ground is looking massively over optimistic right now.

A draw wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for Vale, keeps a safe gap between us and another game less to pull it back.

its got draw written all over it.

I’d say so it’s set up to help neither side... just prolong the agony and faint hopes.

Wonder if Lewis McGugan could make a debut here in his home city! Even unfit he’d be better than Kay!

Huge game win this and we are with GD effectively 9 clear of Notts County and potentially 7 clear of effectively of Macclesfield if they lose at Bury. If we can get that kind of gap after being only 10 clear and winning 1 in 14 then it would be a huge boost.

Hopefully we will know something more concrete about the future of the club before Saturday - uncertainty isn’t exactly great before a big six-pointer.

As for the game itself, I hope we try to get on the front foot as we did against FGR and Stags, try and get the first goal and see if Vale’s heads drop. Sounds like Vale have problems in midfield - I’d be looking for Doyle and JOB to dominate there. My only real concern is Pope bullying our young CBs as Jamille Matt did recently - but what I gather from the Vale fans’ comments he’s nowhere near as mobile as he once was?

He has never been overly mobile but we have lacked service, that said Montano is now fit and Worrall has come in from the cold to play last week so hopefully on a wider pitch we will see better service to him, Monty is one of those however who is either outstanding or does nothing and there is no in between so depends what mood Monty is in!

Not sure if Manny will be fit or not as he add legs but with Doyle, JOB and Anthony Kay its probably going to be a battle of the veterans in that midfield! Got to be over 100 years old between the three of them. Imagine we will revert to five across the middle for this.

Easy Notts win. We have literally no ability, desire or will to win. We also can't score or even look like scoring. If Notts score first it is game over. We're as bad as I've ever seen in my entire 30 years of support and I can't see us turning that around overnight. Notts have players with ability, who can score, and they have recruited well in January. No doubt who will win.

If we lose this you have to say we deserve to go down. Four bottom teams in five games and lose them all you can have no complaints can you really.

Maybe we'll win, maybe we won't. If we go into admin or worse, and with our amount of debt and no lender of last resort it could get a whole lot worse it won't matter anyway, our results will be expunged and we'll go the way of Darlington.

If you go into administration you’ll get purchased with your history etc and (probably like us) need to rebuild in the National League. You won’t go pop completely.

700 pre sale tickets sold so far by us so should be at least 1000 + travelling for this one.

We've sold out our allocation according to twitter

Not sure what the allocation was, still tickets available from County and on the day, looks like we will have a good following which is excellent considering how shit its been for us lately!

I'm guessing a thousand maybe? who knows. Just hope they come back with a point or three.

Just saw the OTD - 4 years ago we wore purple and won at meadow lane... repeat would be much welcome... shame its not at the same level as then though :(

Just got a really bad feeling about this one now. Maybe it's the off-field stuff (although at least we are playing just about the only other L2 side as in as big a state off the field as us and the players have been paid!), the fact it looks a bit of wet, gusty day, but I just think it might have 0-1 Vale written all over it!

We wont score more than 1 as we are the only side worse than you for scoring... luckily our defensive record has been good otherwise we would be gone already. Be a tight one either way I think.

Just hoping as we have 5 or 6 local lads they finally start busting a gut for the cause now the situation has got critical.

Can’t see it tbh . Awful that we are in this position yet again but plenty of potential buyers out there , don’t be fooled into thinking there isn’t . Typical scaremongering during an admittedly desperate and potentially dark time .

Off field we just about win the worst currently in L2 so I see home defeat and the final straw is broken with the loyal supporters

I think this is our deepest hole yet, there's nobody to chuck in the extra cash to service the club until May.
No takeover , no club.

You will be taken over but the issue I imagine is what debts a new owner would have to service and the current wage budget which will surely be far higher than break even.

It may take administration to sort County out but they will come through with new owners I am sure.

The allocation we have sold out was 800 so should have over 1000 there with pay on the day unfortunately I expect us to lose 1 nil.
Hope Notts county sort themselves out rather have us and them in the football league than 50 away fan clubs like Crawley and forest green.

Vale always travel well to Meadow Lane not only have I witnessed it with my own eyes but the away following need thread told me multiple times.

A far too large a crowd for this fixture in the current desperate situation for both clubs

Know am going to regret this come 4:45pm but made the decision go to this. I've got almost no confidence of a result but who knows maybe Vale can find some modicum of competence for a change and surprise me. Lose this and we really have no margin for error.

I couldn’t cope with going this game, it’s massive, a big away following usually means a decent atmosphere, but we’re just such a terrible team, it could turn nasty quickly.
It would be just too demoralising for me.
I’ve told the kids i’m taking them the cinema, so I haven’t got the temptation to listen to it.
Kudos to all going, from both cities!
