Oh and great work hunters! Love a bit of juicy rabbit in the evening.

After my moaning about the food earlier, I think it's only fair if I also volunteer to help. I am going hunting

We're young and free at heart, I want to go for the rhino. See if we can help our fellow survivors out some more.

Do not worry, my old friend. I have conceived a new tactic for us to try...

I want to join this hunt but it appears I'm too late.

Too busy trying to check my various bank accounts (I'm rich, y'know), but there's not much signal out here.

Happy to be giving this hunting trip a miss - was bricking it on the last one. Although, barring being targeted by the Wolves, I'll be happy to partake in another one to attempt to gain food for the fellow survivors.

In the meantime - I have a court case to be getting to, so if you'll excuse me...

Oaf, am I right in thinking the deadline for the wolves to send in their kill votes was the same as 3pm, the same as our execution deadline?

Correct. That's generally the deadline for everything... execution votes, werewolf sending in kill votes and the general end of the game day.

Anyway... it seems that Cas, Aberstone and Ciderhead are our three hunters today.

As these are shorter hunts, these will take place in the thread. Because fuck making a new convo every single day for these

Cas, Aber and Ciderhead head back into the jungle... and find themselves in a familiar situation, finding some berries hanging dangerously over the edge of a cliff.

From here, one of two things must happen:

1) One of the three hunters must say I WILL COLLECT THE BERRIES in bold by the deadline of mid day tomorrow. If successful, the hunters will harvest 60 food.

Or

2) Either the deadline passes with none of the hunters saying they will collect the berries, or all three of the hunters say FUCK THAT in bold and return to camp. If they choose to do this, they will simply take the berries that are safe and easy to get to, and harvest 10 food.

Good show old bean.

Cas ties some vines around his waist and is slowly lowered to the berries by Aberstone and Ciderhead. It all passes by pretty event free, but there is one moment where a huge gust of wind causes a slight panic. After not too long, Cas has gathered all of the berries and is safely lifted back up.

Cas has gathered the berries!

+60 food for the group!

The hunters head back to the camp.

So have we got anything to lead on now? Apart from this beast there isn't much to go by right now, but who is the beast?!

Well done hunters!

Really good stuff. I'm just thinking, that puts us to 220 food. With 30 of us, that keeps us covered for at least 7 more days, so I'm not even sure we need to consider risking our lives every day hunting. Then again, nobody has died so far so I guess it can't be all that bad!

Well I've made my contribution, you're welcome everybody

But yeah, nice one Cas. Shame we couldn't hunt us a nice big boar or even a rhino, but it keeps the supplies nicely ticking over

Correct. That's generally the deadline for everything... execution votes, werewolf sending in kill votes and the general end of the game day.

This is interesting. So the wolves had already decided to kill Da Biggg Citeh Fan, it wasn't a reaction to his late outburst. Seems a bit coincidental.

And when challenged, and it was suggested he'd now be a prime candidate for execution, he said:
lmao it doesn't effect me

It strikes me that DBCF knew he was a goner. How would he know this? Did he stumble upon something he shouldn't?

Question to veggie, have you and the seer made contact yet? And if so do we have any members (No names) who are known to be non-wolves?

I suspicious of Sing Up Sout Sand. He make execution calls and then passes them off as not knowing wules that no one die if no one vote.

There must have been a reason why DBCH tried to vote for SUTSS? Shame he didn't tell us more, rather than just "it doesn't effect me"

The only basis could have been the dice rolling he was doing - but seeing as SUTSS explained himself, there seemed to be no reason to vote SUTSS for execution, so it all does seem a bit odd.

I'm retracting myself from voting until there is any clear evidence against any fellow survivors, or any suspicions that I or others may have picked up on.

We'll wait and see.

My first thought was that it was an attempt to frame me (as if I'd be that obvious if I was a wolf). If they were going to sacrifice DBCF though wouldn't they have outed him and got the group to vote for execution for him? Or would that then leave them open to a seering and bring the whole group down?

I can confirm that I will not be rolling my dice today.

Well I have some brilliant Crystal for anyone that wants some, slight accident with Phosphorus though so you may want to avoid the second floor for now...

...quick input before I carry on with my latest invention, the Wright bros have nothing on this when it gets going. So, yeah, that input, no idea.

Damn, I dont really should have thought about that before. My new invention turns out shitloads so we'll go with £2,000 and you can grab a handful. Sound reasonable?

I'm room 312B, 3rd floor..had to relocate from 2nd, drop by when you want some. Anyway I have better things to be doing than stood here gassing, TTFN.

(This is very frustrating, every time we get an inkling of suspicion it evaporates straight away. I don't think SUTSS is guilty, nor MagpieBee or Ciderhead, despite some of the accusations thrown their way. I have one suspicion myself, but it is just a gut instinct so I don't want to share it at this stage.)

Once again, no execution votes were made on day 4, so no execution took place. It seems that the survivors were choosing to take their time with this and be careful to not kill off any innocents.

IT IS NIGHT.

As the survivors went to their beds, they couldn't help but remember that stone seemingly whispering that something was coming this night... for this very reason, sleep did not come easy to most of them. But after a while nothing seemed to be happening... the survivors were eased into a sense of security, enough so to eventually drift off into a sound sleep.

But then they were all woken by horrific sound of a man screaming. He sounded as if he were being tortured in the most brutal way... and then, suddenly, he stopped. The survivors all left their makeshift tents and huts to see what the noise was...

There was a body. Or what was left of a body. Blackened by fire and spread out into a pentagram on the beach.

Then, from the woods, came a thunderous voice...

HE IS HERE.

HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE.

And then silence.

The survivors tried to figure out who the body belonged too, but it was far too disfigured to be able to tell. In the end, they simply did a head count to try to see who was missing.

HarvSFC was nowhere to be found.

HarvSFC is dead!

And also... the stone with the pentagram carving was now gone...

DAY 5

After the events of last night, not much sleep was to be had by the group. They woke up tired and groggy as they collected their days rations from the stockpile of food (29 food taken, 191 food remains!). But suddenly they noticed... something had been left for them over night.

A large stone tablet was placed underneath a tree. Also, the tree had a scroll pinned to it by a glass sword. Veggielegs went to read the scroll, but then remembered that he was a dog so couldn't read. Instead, he passed it onto IanH who read the message on it:

"I have been watching you.

He is here. You know his name. Do not speak it.

But we have a chance.

There are four stones. One north. One east. One West. One South.

Put them into the tablet.

It is the only way to stop him.

Go today."

Who had left these items? It seemed that there was somebody else on this island... and whoever it was, they knew more than the survivors about what was actually going on here.

The group decided to try to find these stones. They had seen some weird shit already, who was to say that this was bullshit.

NEW QUESTS!

Once per day the survivors must search a direction for clues. There 4 different quests, each taking up a game day. Only one of these quests can be undertaken each day.

North lies a small island.
West lies a deep jungle.
South lies a strange temple.
East lies a rocky mountain.

These four quests can be completed in any order. The survivors must choose which direction they wish to go in. Three survivors will go on each quest each day.

To initiate a quest, simply put (as an example)

OAF goes on the quest to the north!

So, (name) goes on the quest to the (direction) in bold.

Whichever direction is chosen by the first person to say they're going on a quest will be the one that you go on for that day. If no players have elected to go on this quest by midnight tonight, they will be chosen at random.
