Cool, seems everybody is happy with that new deadline. So yeah, 2pm tomorrow!

No execution tomorrow as things stand.

Even if it were 3 you posted at 3 minutes past so would have missed a 3pm deadline, interesting that you try offing someone at what you think is the last minute before a deadline.

So yeah, I think we have a good idea of who to execute next game day, unless he can explain his reasoning?

Agreed considering SUTSS spoke logically about Ciderhead and MagpieBee

I wouldn't call trying to kill people off using dice rolls logical, especially when there was no need to kill anyone off anyway.

But fair play to him though for retracting the vote when people tried to point this out, and listening to the group's wishes. No reason to suspect him anymore than anyone else after that!

It was more in reference to Ciderhead calling SUTSS on voting you, but not saying anything when Dave was voted for.

So you know...

STUFF is happening. STUFF. I can't say what. All will be explained at the end of the game. But so you know, yes, I am aware that the deadline has gone and yes, I am still alive. This will be updated ASAP.

Eager to find out how this quest is going, they've been gone an awfully long time now.

Hopefully they're okay, and back soon with some fresh meat or something. I can't take much more of this dried crap we've got here, I'm not used to eating like this. Why didn't we bring a decent chef along with us?!

You never eat at Ashton Gate? Silkyman as a retired war veteran may have some cooking experience?

Just a suggestion, but I think there's a chance that Da Biggg Citteh Fan is a good guy here. Making a vote that late means that nobody could have changed the result, so if SUTSS is indeed innocent he'd be executed straight away. Just a thought...

As Da Biggg Citeh Fans vote was past the deadline, it does not count. As a result, no execution votes were made on Day 3, so there will be no execution!

With no blood shed on this day, the survivors retired to their beds for a guilt free night of sleep.

The next morning, Krazy8 was walking Veggie Legs and as he bent over to pick up his poo, he noticed a foot in a bush... it was wearing a very expensive looking shoe, with black stains all over it. Oil...

Nearby, Krazy8 found the bloody remains of the Oil Prospector, Da Big Citeh Fan. He was dead... the wolves had finally struck.

Interesting choice of kill from the wolves, a few people were suspicious of Da Big Citeh Fan so why kill him off if he could have been a potential execution vote?

Getting a wierd vibe off this comment now, apparent justification of a last minute vote for SUTSS when SUTSS was a player I was leaning on being an inniocent read. Then the commenting of DBCF being a good guy, would know if Cardsfan is a wolf...

Day 4

Group_of_duck_hunters_on_lake.jpg

Just after the sun rose on Day 4, the hunters returned to camp.

The hunters are now permitted to post in this thread!

The hunters had managed to gather 90 more food on their journey. They managed to catch a rabbit and Aberstone took a very dangerous risk to gather some berries, but they also accidently let a wild boar run loose and turned down the chance to try to hunt... a rhino. Which to be fair was probably a wise move.

Still, the food total is nearly doubled and taken up to 190!

But also of note... the hunters found a strange stone with a pentagram carved into it that seems to emanate a faint red glow. It looks unnatural...

The survivors pass the stone around from person to person. When Cardsfan holds it, he thinks he can hear a faint noise coming from it... almost whispering. He holds it to his ear... and suddenly his face loses all colour. Cardsfan throws the rock away and crosses his chest.

"What the hell was that all about?" asked Rammy.

Cardsfan spoke in a quiet voice... "it spoke to me. It said... The BEAST cometh tonight"...

Interesting that Citeh Fan voted for SUTSS and was innocent. After all it may turn out that he was trying to do a good deed for the team, whether that would have paid off is anyone's guess.

OOC: I've ate at AG many a time - got great use out of those complimentary food vouchers from a few years back.

With this new day dawning, the food supplies drop from 190 to 160 as everybody puts aside their rations for the day.

Also, important information regarding HUNTING from this point on.

Each game day, up to three players may say "I AM GOING HUNTING" in bold before a set deadline. These three hunters will go off and be presented with one of four scenarios (a rabbit, berries, a boar or a rhino... the same scenarios our original hunters had) and have the chance of gathering more food for the group. Bare in mind, the rhino takes 3 hunters and the boar takes two, so if, for example, only one person chooses to go hunting, they would only be presented with the rabbit or the berries). Unlike before, these hunts will be very short and the hunters will be back in time for executions and such, so will not have immunity like before.

Oh yeah, and also...

The deadline for executions and such will be 6PM tomorrow. Just under 24 hours... a lot shorter than the last one, but that last day went on for far too long by my reckoning

Oaf is there a risk to the people going hunting? Or just a case of going to collect food?

The lawyer JJH killed the rabbit so props to him as well for adding towards the food supply.

The BEAST eh? I've been called worse before.

I may be old and just returned from a hunting trip but I feel these old bones still have life left in them. Besides, I ain't much used cooped up in me cabin.

I AM GOING HUNTING

(OOC: We can volunteer for hunting now right, Oaf? Or is that tomorrow or something.)

There is absolutely a risk associated with hunting. The risks and rewards for each of the four hunting scenarios are different... each one carries a % chance of success or failure (via escape... or even death :o)

Yup, you can do this every day from the second days start.

Oaf, am I right in thinking the deadline for the wolves to send in their kill votes was the same as 3pm, the same as our execution deadline?

I'm feeling more confident now you're coming along. Perhaps we'll be able to get that boar this time.

We're young and free at heart, I want to go for the rhino. See if we can help our fellow survivors out some more.
