As it stands, we are due to get an execution today unless the five that have voted so far cancel their votes. Lord Hatter Dave is set for the chopping block thus far, just a vote ahead of Cardsfan. Cards was only one vote behind for the leadership vote yesterday... from nearly leader to nearly executed!

Remember the deadline is at 6pm today.

Unless you believe the dice, SUTSS did the exact same thing in voting you for execution earlier, as Dave has referenced. Why did you vote for Dave here and not him?

To be honest, we've got a lot of very dodgy looking voting going on here. Perhaps these people are privy to some information that we don't have access too, but it seems strange. The results of this next execution will be very interesting and probably tell us where to go next...

With just over 3 hours to go, things are not looking good for the Lord Hatter.

The former billionaire, Yellow, was using this time to catch some sun on the upper deck, when suddenly something in the distance caught his eye. He got up and took a closer look... and was delighted with what he saw. He saw Cardsfan on the lower deck, and called down to him.

"Land ho!!" he shouted down.
"The fuck did you call me?" asked Cardsfan, but as he asked, he too saw the island in the distance. LAND!

The ship, almost as if it were driven by unseen forces, slowly drifted toward the island on the horizon...

The group had decided that Lord Hatter Dave deserved to die. They didn't have an awful lot to go on, but five people had decided that this was the best course of action. Dave was led before the leader, Veggie Legs, who gave him his final rights.

And with that, weights were tied around his ankles and Dave was thrown overboard into the depths of the ocean. His final thoughts were of his young family.

Day 3

As a new day dawned (OH AAAAHH SAY YES IT DID!), the survivors woke up with an incredible sense of guilt for what they had done to Lord Hatter Dave. However, they were allowed a bit of relief when they saw that, once again, the werewolves had not killed anybody during the night.

And also, it occurred to the group that their cruise ship had drifted into shallow waters and become grounded... they had arrived at the island! With food supplies dwindling, they decided to set up a camp on the beach to see if they could gather any new food on this island. They all got into the rescue boats and rowed their way to their new home.

It didn't take long for them to set up camp and after not too long they were all set up. But then, they noticed something...

To their horror, the cruise ship was mysteriously drifting away. No, not drifting... sailing. It had somehow powered back up and was now leaving them behind! The survivors panicked and considered going after the ship but there was no way they would catch it up. They were stranded, more so than before.

FOOD!

From now on, FOOD will come into play. Right now, luckily you have taken 100 food from on board the ship with you... but it costs 1 food per person per game day in order for you to not starve. You will lose food equal to the number of survivors each day, and should your food fall below the required amount and remain below the required amount for 2 days in a row, a character will be chosen at random and will die of starvation... and this will happen each day until you are able to get the required amount of food again.

Also... if the werewolves kill during a night, they will feast upon the corpse of the person they kill, fulfilling their own hunger. The werewolves are immune from death from starvation so long as they kill!

With this, the survivors decided that they had to start thinking about gathering up their food supplies...

QUEST 1 - The hunt

With the survivors now needing to gather food, a decision was made as a group that FIVE of them would go off to explore the island and see what food they could find.

We need 5 volunteers by 3pm tomorrow! (Though if we get them earlier, we can start it earlier)

To volunteer, you must say "I VOLUNTEER FOR THE QUEST" in BOLD in this thread. There will be dangers on this quest, but it is essential for your survival. If 5 people have not volunteered by the deadline, the remaining spaces will be filled at random. It is recommended that you are able to be around on here a fair bit over the next day or so, as this quest may require a fair bit of activity from you.

Also, the deadline for execution votes for Day 3 will be 6pm on Thursday.

Oh yeah, that reminds me... of something quite important actually

Those who go on this quest will not be around in the group. Thus, they will not be able to post in this thread or be physically present in the camp site. As a result, they can neither vote for executions, nor be voted for execution. It's a double edged sword though... execution immunity for the price of going out there and putting yourself in danger? Who's willing to pay it.

The quest will start at either 3pm tomorrow or earlier if all five spaces are taken before that time.

And yes, it will be live at some point after the deadline. I can't give an exact time, but I'll probably pop online and give the people going a bit of a heads up to let them know it's coming.

Well I for one am not going on this quest for food. Guess how old I am? Gwon. I'm 73. It's too dangerous out there for me. I've got diabetes and I've a dodgy hip. I don't want to sound cowardly but there's nothing you could do to get me out there.
