Oakey, sorry about this, but can you point me to the rule that says that if you cannot predict because the forum is down, you lose 6 points please? I've had a look at the rules on p1, and cannot see that one.

I always try to do my various predictions on Fridays as that is most convenient for me. If I forget then that's my fault. This wasn't.

A missed predicta is just that...
The site going down didn’t affect everyone...if it did then nobody would’ve been deducted points-due to unforeseen circumstances..
I reckon the unpredictability of this site should be a lesson to all of us that we ran a risk of being docked points if we decide to leave posting predictas late into the following week..even though it makes sense to wait and consider form/injuries etc.
I appreciate people taking their time to come to sensible and well founded predictas based on history or location or in-depth analysis of previous encounters...
I am glad people enjoy this game and take it seriously...and I will take on board any criticism or suggestions to make it better...

Suggestion - if the board goes down, the week is null and void, as has happened with other games in other sections of this board over the years.

Agreed...but on this scenario there was ample opportunity over the 5 days available? Remember the fixtures were posted early and the site didn’t go down till Thursday sometime....6x people made it...
9x people didn’t...
