How are league positions determined?

I’m 5th with same % (and win) as some in 4th spot. I’m below some guys with same stats but who have failed to enter forecasts.

I know I’m a crappy forecaster but I must be better than those who neglect to enter their forecasts.

Seems I’m being penalised for entering an incorrect forecast while those who don’t are de-facto getting three extra points than me.

league positions are defined by....
1-highest correct percentage rate verses games involved
2-highest amount points gained if percentages the same....(don't abuse the joker!!)
3-alphabetical order of predictas'.....most of the time i get it right...when it REALLY matters i will!!
i agree with you that someone who has missed games should be lower placed than those with similar figures..they will have had 3 misses before being slung out!!....the important final tables will show that...
my "so fars" are less particular ....my apologies guys.....

THE RULES.....
1-You're either RIGHT or WRONG...
The ultimate winner will have the highest correct predicta percentage over the season.....
2-Predict your OWN team's result.....WIN,LOSS or DRAW.....
3-You get 3 points ADDED to your total if you are right...
4-You get 3 points DEDUCTED if you are wrong,miss or fail to predict....
5-You Can Use The Joker To Double Up Your Correct Predicta ....
But You Will Be Deducted Double Points If Incorrect!!...
Your points total will help in deciding your place in the league.....
6-Predictions must be received before kick-off,or else void. ..
7-ONE game at a time...
8-Posts must have BOTH team names involved in the game, plus the date,then your predicta .Please predict ...WIN,LOSS or DRAW... nothing else please!!....
9-This is open to anybody,across the forums, who fancy's a go .
10-It's About Points... But ...Win Percentages Takes Precedence!!...
PS...in the event of a close end-of the-season finish...predictas will be required to be submitted by private messages only...
PPS...if you MISS 3 games you will be DELETED from the predicta game...

i've noticed that too Carver...
there has been occasions in the past when people have quoted the wrong team that they are playing...or the wrong game/date....
if it wasn't for some of our more observant friends picking that up then they would have lost points for an incorrect predicta ....
but...hey-ho...whatever.....
