Darren Potter was fucking awful at Wolves. Glenn Hoddle brought some shit for us but that guy was in a league of his own.

Released.. Stead, Paterson, Gerrard, Carr and Carroll.

Miller and Gobern been offered deals.

I'd have JET, Maynard, Ward here in a shot.

Judging by teams that have come up from League 1 and performed in this division I don't think the gap is as big as you make out...

Especially in recent years where sides like Norwich and Southampton have come up from league 1 and got promoted to the Premier League.Even this season Wolves and Brentford came up from league 1 and done well. Can see Bristol City doing very well next season as well.

Lets be honest all those clubs have been backed with serious money, MK Dons wont have that backing I'm pretty sure of that.

I have a feeling MK will use the loan market wisely and will also use what money they do have well.

Correct, but big clubs now seem to like giving us very good youth players, this can only get better now we are in a higher league. I'd love Lewis Baker back even rob hall. I'd also like to see who arsenal give us as a favour for us cancelling Beniks loan.

We had Lewis Baker.... Can see him coming back now we actually have a pitch he can play on.

I actually think Chelsea will just give him straight back to us, he seemed to flourish here and he got on great with the lads. Scored some bloody cracking goals as well.

It depends on the wages offered.... And if we actually want him.

True on both fronts, but you also have to remeber we didn't ask for him in the first place, they came to us to see if we wanted him.

I know they did, they saw an opportunity to get him game time he wouldn't get for us.

Will they want to see him back at yours or maybe try more high profile... Who knows.

No offence but (this season anyway) you have just been a mid table team, we can offer him the same thing here. The only better thing you could probably offer Baker is better training facilities.

No offence but when we took him on loan we were six points off the play offs, we will be far more competitive next season with a budget that will dwarf most clubs by all accounts. If we don't sign him it's not the end of the world.

Seriously though for you lot you'll need far far better than the likes of Potter, Carl Baker and Dean Bowditch in this division.

I'd even go onto say i honestly think you'll struggle next year.

Most of our fans don't rate Bowditch in league one... Carl Baker tore up league one and Darren potter makes us tick. We need to make some decent signings but I'm confident we will stay up. That's all I want really, next season.

Think Carl Baker is decent. Used to watch him a few times when he was at Coventry, think he'll do well in this league

30k haha how oftens that then.

A Blade concerned about our attendances, aren't you struggling to hit 20,000 for your biggest game of the season? When Potter was here we got 30,000+ on a number of occasions.

Meanwhile, outside Sheffield and Milton Keynes.....

The good news is that Liam McAlinden has been offered a new contract at Wolves on the back of..... well.... something, I guess. :mell: Anything?

Ah right. On the back of four goals in League One on loan at Fleetwood in 15 hours on the pitch.
Time to put your bets on Wolves for automatic promotion next season. Young Liam's going to rip your club a new one come next season.

Really not sure why were giving him a new deal, I'd even have Leon Clarke over him.

Zak Whitbread and Lee Naylor have left the club too.

Not sure what Naylor brought to the table, never played and was never good enough to push anyone for competition.

Whitbread was very good when he played, he just hardly ever played. We knew he was injury prone when we signed him and he's proved to be just that.
