Sounded like our strikers missed 2 sitters& a full back had to show them how to do it.
Normal service resumed

Haha, we just discussing our seperate matches this weekend in this thread?... I've no problem with that

Think you can get back to winning ways, after three league defeats now?

God knows.Looked like we were solid at the back, the first few games, now we're conceding for fun & all pretty easy goals for the opposition.

Probably 3 games for a straight red.
Depends. What did he do?

Straight red for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity = 1 match ban

Straight red for dangerous play, violent conduct or foul and abusive language = minimum 3 match ban.

Avysive language ? Sounds like me when the wife asks where I'm going on a Thursday

The confusion the autocorrect causes sometimes on iPhones. Ridiculous.

Mines a work phone so I don't get a choice. I suppose I could buy a separate phone if I want but na.

Looked like both players were having a cuddle, then Magnay threw the other bloke on the floor, who then rolled around like a player in Serie A.
3 games i would imagine.

Apologies to bring this thread back up, but we've been charged £2.3k for damage to the seats in the away end. Sounds a bit steep for a few broken seats.

Rightly so!

6 of the most premium seats had to be taped off as a result. The poor Sheff Utd fans had to sit in the peasant seats in the middle. You should be reimbursing them for their tickets too!

Seriously, £2.3k is slightly OTT for a bit of plastic. I wasn't joking about it being 6 seats either..

Carlisle filled the Rink End bringing in around 20k , add on food spending and programmes etc , it's a bit churlish making a fuss over a relatively small amount

Every year we go there seems to be seats already cracked in half or hanging off by a thread when we arrive.

Maybe they are going to finally replace these seats as well.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I am not surprised really at the fall out with hartlepool

I love their away end, it is one of the best in English football for matches in respect of the atmosphere, its crammed nature, close on the pitch and when you score its magic.............that being said it is a disaster zone at same time and sadly with Carlisle pool always brings in our morons.

I used to both love and hate the hartlepool game. I loved the atmosphere and the feel of the game......feels like a proper game in that away end, but it always felt dangerous and you never knew what idiots you may have sitting near you.

The pool away end is 100% the Wild mouse ride from Blackpool Pleasure beach. A Superb experience, but you come out with bruises

It's the worst view in the ground and always first on the list to be replaced everytime we get an owners statement of what plans they have , never seems to happen though , there is loads of space behind it , no excuse for it being the smallest stand we have

but what you gain from good views and better safety, you will lose in that superb crammed together right on the touchline feel that not many other away ends give

but I guess that away end is always a risk for trouble when full, everyone is so tightly packed together, next to pitch it can let the idiots group together.

but I'd find it a shame if it went.

After that sales pitch I would be surprised if anyone came !! It used to be 6 rows of seating when it was first converted , now it's 9 and no bigger ... its nice for us to look at when it's full, I'm not so sure I'd want to be in there though
