Chris; what do FGR fans get up to at the New Lawn?

"Avoid face to face contact" !

Apart from that it all seems very sensible and easy to comply with. It makes me wonder why we couldn't get a match on.

How the fuck do you avoid face to face contact? So you talk to somebody with your back turned? What a stupid suggestion and one that will simply be ignored. If you're in close proximity to somebody not in your social bubble, use your face covering and everyone's a winner. It's really not that difficult.

The idea is you talk to as few people not in your social bubble as possible I think. But yeah I agree, just wear the face covering and you should be all good.

It's looking increasingly likely that face masks, social bubbles and social distancing will be all for nowt. I'm readying myself for no football at all come next month.

Eh? No reason for football to stop.

Whole country is going to end up back in lockdown. Well it should, but Cummings would rather kill people than kill the economy. You’ve got to assume that Orient are only the tip of the iceberg across the EFL. No way we’re getting a full season in.

Have to take up grouse shooting or fox hunting.

Anyone explain how pubs remaining open but shutting a bit early is OK but a few well spaced fans in the open air is not.

As I said earlier, end the season now, ppg to determine promotion and relegation. Only fairest way and follows last season’s precedence....

Congrats on your title win. Hard to pick a highlight from such a brilliant season I'd imagine?

Any restaurants I've been in have seen people much closer together than admittedly only a thousand of us were on saturday. The people milling round the shops in town were probably closer to each other and took fewer precautions than those in the ground. I feel like we're all paying the price for those who have been selfish and irresponsible such as the anti maskers who gathered in London at the weekend or the guy who triggered the outbreak in Bolton by going on holiday and then not quarantining himself when he got back.

We need to be thinking of what the new normal will be like because humanity is now at a level where diseases can spread like wildfire and we have to stop reacting to it and start living with it. If we have to keep wearing masks in shops and on public transport for the rest of my life that's a small price to pay. Workplace hygiene has to be taken much more seriously now and we can't keep on pressuring employees to come to work despite being sick. Maybe that means any outbreak of disease in a workplace and the employer is fined so that it becomes in their interests to encourage sick employees to stay home. We can't just keep enforcing and then relaxing lockdowns, especially when schools and workplaces are all full. Football has been ahead of the game so far in being proactive and knocking on the head all the work done so far will help nobody.

The government have essentially consigned a lot of clubs to extinction with this news.

Instead of coming up with ideas they’ve just blanket banned everything with no thought as to the devastating affect this will have on football clubs. Gove was absolutely Fucking clueless this morning, citing full capacity PL games as a reason why 20% couldn’t get into a FL grounds safely.

Fuming. That Gove, honestly I’d love nothing more than to knock his speccy head clean off after watching that.

1000 fans in Brunton on Saturday felt safer than any pub, restaurant, small shop, big supermarket that I’ve been in over the past few months.

Pathetic, thoughtless, clueless decision.

Easier for them to shut down something they don't like or rely on revenue from like pubs etc ...

There are some names that are synonymous with cuts, Beeching and railways, Thatcher and milk for school children...Gove is going to go down as the man who screwed football...cheers.

Two dirty old men sat on a park bench (observing social distancing). The one who isn't called Gove says "I feel really guilty about something I have done"..."I have just exposed myself to some kids playing five-a-side"...To which Michael Gove replies..."I don't know what you are worried about that is nothing, I have just f****d the whole of football!"
