Yip, i do get all those arguments against clubs like mine, and the citing of other clubs who are of a similar mould to us makes people think it will happen to every "newer" club trying to get to the FL. I'm not saying we will never go pop in the next 20-50 years, but even the biggest clubs can go pop just as fast. Look at Pompey, who even in L2 get 18,000 a game, but are still in the shit financially and are going to be in L2 for years yet. The likes of Bristol Rovers et al, are in this league because they have been poorly run and managed. Its not because their crowds are not big enough to sustain league football, because clearly their 6k-8k per home game is better than a lot of L2 clubs, so the crowd thing is a bit of a red herring, especially if a club is doing so much more to generate revenue than just depend on its fortnightly fan base to boost the top line. Its not just a one man show at EFC either, sure the main man is loaded & its him that has the vision, the contacts and the entrepreneurial skills to move us forward, but i believe we have another 10+ multi-millionaires who are either sponsoring or involved in some way. So if you don't mind, us EFC fans will enjoy what is happening and will get right behind our team and our owner, because i've no doubt you would all do the same if it were happening at your club. Failing that, you could all go back to supporting Man Utd again..
Only a Tin Potter would say this. People who support real clubs don't support anybody else. If you weren't a Tin Potter you would know this.
