I don't even know how Eastleigh could even financially afford promotion with all the money being pulled out this summer.

Scrape by every year with the money coming from the EPL etc and hope for the best.

Poor old Wrexham. Unlucky with decisions and missed chances. Go again next season but do something about that front line.

Guess I'm becoming an honorary Eastleigh fan for the semi final now....

Wrexham seem cursed. My sympathies to their long suffering supporters. It will be twelve years at this level, out of interest who has the next longest stretch, Gateshead, Dover?

I feel sick, but we are fucking dogshit.

Although we were unlucky several times, we were at home and still played our dull, no-risk football that will never produce a goal apart from a set-piece. At no point did they even give the crowd anything to get the atmosphere going. Any neutral watching that could easily tell why Lainton has 25 clean sheets this season but also the fact that our top scorer is Pearson on 6.

Also in the back of my mind I know that there's no way we'd have beaten Salford away and then Solihull/Fylde, so I find it hard to feel too gutted about it all.

You've got to feel for the Wrexham fans and every credit to them. They keep turning up in their thousands week after week. Astonishing really. It's so plain to see that they need a few players that can actually attack.

Salford will beat eastleigh, absolute certainty. I'll constantly be checking the betting sites tomorrow just waiting on a price. If they're anywhere near 4/6 I will be ringing plenty of my mates to get bets on for me. Us vs Solihull is a 50/50 game in my opinion. They wont want us as we always do well against them.

Roll on Saturday. 3 giant teams left and us

Wrexham looked scared to have a go tonight, too many easy sideways passes.

Gonna be weird playing any of these tinpot clubs next season, but they're no smaller than FGR, Crawley, Morecambe or Macc so fair play. AFC Fylde above Notts County in the pyramid, who'd have thought.

Wrexham, Wrexham, Wrexham, what have you done!!! This is on YOU. Salford, Fylde, Solihull or Eastleigh will be in the Football League next year and both of us will be stuck here, and it's on YOU!! God, I hope it's Solihull- that'll teach the fuckers at the EFL and the FA. :ffs:

So one of Salford, Solihull, Fylde or Eastleigh will be in the Football league next season :eyes:

May as well bring reelection back. Can you imagine all those fans rattling about in Bratfud City's away end? You get more attendees at a Toby Young stag do.

We may have a contender to Dagenham's 29 on a Tuesday night in 2012. Sure did look good in an away end that holds 4500.

Bleak. I remember 10 Solihoof fans goading us to a 0–0 draw on a Tuesday night in the Conference North. Flyde and Salford would've brought around that when we were playing them in the glue leagues. Eastleigh tbf have some sort of die-hard contingent and I seem to recall have brought 50+ to us in a few midweek games.

Reffed out of it and I'm gutted for ya but the reality is not anywhere near enough quality going forward.

What he said. Salford are going to absolutely piss the playoffs, worse luck. The only team that could out-shithouse them is Solihull.

Eastleigh took 15 (FIFTEEN) to us this season, on a Saturday.

Not a club that'll add value to the league in any way

Yet 3 of those 4 sides have more attendees than Halifax

Staying power, innit.

Clubs that can foster a culture and have been plugging away for many decades take them around the country. That's why Chorley have brought a few hundred to us for a regular midweek, and almost 2,000 for a playoff final.

It's a better indicator of where a club might be when the well dries up

Shame about that result. Suppose Solihull the best option to go up now, though could just about cope with Fylde.

Two shit sides who are both staying down here. I think we didn't create a chance in open play.

Hughes has got to clear out a good chunk of this side, especially our awful strikers, with the exception of Oswell who I think will be good as a regular starter.

Expect Solihull will beat tippy-tappy Fylde up on their tiny pitch. The National League will want Salford up, as they have done all season. They'll get conclusively reffed up in a final against Solihull.

Beavon and McGlashan both had decent chances, and I'm pretty sure Grant hit the bar from open play.

Going to be a piss poor crowd at Wembley.

Any of them likely to take more than 5k?

Yep.

I reckon Salford would take the most cos of the Manure hangers on who'd go. Probably around 8k

Fylde 5k

Eastleigh & Solihull around 6k I'd reckon

At least we would get our statutory 9-0 victory.
Those wollopings you gave us are ancient history mate, in true brotherhood style i am going to be very specific in bracketing the judgement of my side, and say we have won the last two and have a 100% recordagainst Tranmere for almost 2 years!
PS I really think we could get over 10k at Wembley IF we win on Saturday, but the gentleman replying to the combover chap from Halifax it correct. He keeps slinging mud calling tinpot and talking attendances. Pretty sure Halifax averge around 1500 in that big empty stadium they rent, putting them in the same tinpot club as ourselves, and below many clubs he has mocked, keep combing over with your pint of mild talkin bout gud ol deys B2TF, who knows, if you can convince others of your deluded truth some may sit with you in te pub, though i doubt it.

about the only positive thing you can say about that game was that the goal was worthy of winning a play off match

In a surprising turn of events, Red Passion site has crashed.
