I just bought final fantasy 15 and the last guardian today, oh what a week to have off work!

Got 3 quite cheap indie type games in the end. Figured anything on disc I wanted like Ratchet and Clank I can get cheaper from CEX. Went for Lumo, the Bit.Trip and Steamworld Dig. Only played the last one so far, but its not bad for less than £2!

Overwatch. You don't even have to be able to be a hardcore shooter player to be able to get by online

Battlefield is about the most frustratingly tricky FPS shooter out there. Buy that for your kids if you want them to feel like they're shit at games and cry.

But you know, if you can take the punishment, it's really good besides that As for OW, well, just have a look in the GOTY 2016 thread... I think there's a general consensus that it was just about the best game out last year.

Thanks, the girls are already shit at games so no worries there.

I'll go with overwatch then because nobody in their right mind would chose a controller over a mouse and keyboard to play fps games, so will stay away from battlefield if its that tricky!

Same, originally wasn't going to get it but all the positive reviews convinced me.

Reminds of Darksiders in how most of it's features we've seen before but they mix together well.

There's so many decent games out/coming out that I dunno what to do. I preordered Nier and Persona a while ago but just started Horizon so won't play them for a while. Any other instance I would have lapped up Nioh but won't have time to play it. Don't think i'll be back on BF1 for a while now either.

Was interested until trying the demo and it was too Soulsy for me.

Yeah I know what you mean. The first game I played that was that length was FFVII twenty years back (sheesh!) and it was amazing; but after playing so many others in the last decade that fill out games with meaningless side quests and collections, then I feel I want to stay away from them now unless they are phenomenal like Witcher 3. I just want a game I can play, enjoy, and move on now, which is why I tend to buy more indie titles these days.

No, no you're not. I've played just under 70 hours so for and I love this game so much I reckon I could play another 70. Actually going for the platinum trophy for once.

Persona 5 getting basically perfect reviews from everywhere. Currently at 94 metacritic and only being dragged down by a few shit twat reviewers marking it down for: the main character being a guy, the main character not being gay, the game being on console and not handheld
