Outlaws makes for pretty hilarious reading at the moment. Getting very carried away on there, not like the level-headed Luton lot we have on here. Not that you can judge the attitude of the Luton players and management from comments on the forum, though Nathan Jones has brushed off talk of injuries by saying that Luton's back-up players would walk into most teams in this division. I wonder how long the score has to stay at 0-0 for before all those fans currently getting excited at the prospect of another 7-0 win turn sour.

apparently the request to widen the emergency doors and remove some seats to enable the carlisle team bus to park itself in front of the oak road end has been refused....therefor protecting the carefully manicured pitch...

That's OK, we're going to pack Hadrian's wall up and bring it down to France with us.

I just went on the Luton forum. The layout gave me a headache, so I had to close my browser and go sit in the bogs at work with the lights off for 10 minutes.

And you don't have to register to post. Who knows how many of the posts on there are by Carver?

A lot of impostering goes on. An unexpected benefit is that most on there now have an encyclopaedic knowledge of IP addresses in order to ascertain if posts are genuine.

Correct, but the thing is that IP addresses can be hidden or changed if one feels the need to of course. But forgetting trolling from the usual suspects (Watford etc) for the moment, it's the general layout that puts me off reading Outlaws. At the very least, there should be two separate boards, one for the Luton related stuff and the other for the rest. As it is now you get the usual footy stuff mixed in with the politics and the other stuff like ''should I go for the Opel Corsa or the Fiat Punto?".

If you read the top of Outlaws it says the following:
"What you read on here is 100% conjecture, fiction, lies, bullshit and complete bollocks. If you want to be taken seriously, you are in the wrong place."
You take Outlaws for what it is A forum with no registration, multiple personalites, trolls, would be politicians, right wing extremists, left wing loonies and just occassionaly a football fan with a sensible view of the game. I love it!

James Brown rested for this one. Keep him right for the winnable one on Saturday. Probably should have rested Hill as well.

3-5-2 then not too surprising, though it is surprising to see Miller in for Brown. Perhaps with his long throws or goal threat in kind. Hope and Shaun Miller up front at least suggests we aren't just going to lump it forward.

My mate mentioned that Brown took a knock at grimsby. Probably nothing but not worth risking tonight in a game we’ll probably lose anyway, particularly when Tom Miller is a capable replacement.

Dust ourselves down and move on to Saturday.

Apparently Luton players have been making themselves stink of shit, which might explain why defenders are scared to go near them.

Very efficient Luton.

Relentless almost against a decent team.

Good display. Carlilse as good a team as I remember for a while, keep the ball well created a couple of openings stiffled us in the main but we've still managed to score from probably both our chances. We look like we have another gear if we can find it, but don't want to concede as a goal will let them back in.

Where did Luton get the money from to sign all these good players?

Solid performance and we go top. Luton also missing three key players.

Didn’t scale the heights of Saturday, not even close, but they didn’t need to be. And it still should’ve been 4. Carlisle very ordinary in that second half and they got what they deserved out of the game.

Should’ve been 4? Did you have a goal wrongly disallowed?

Keith Curle looks a very miserable person. Took Jones to march up to the centre circle for him to shake hands with him.
