Beaten by a good free kick that should never had been, the lad tripped over. Oldham were timewasting from kickoff and never stopped all game. Moore got body checked and got nothing and the ball was taken upfield where Innis did the same and got a yellow card for it. A draw would have been fair but we didn't turn up first half, 2nd half we did but Oldham timewasting till the end. In my eyes we will not finish near a playoff spot nevermind in them.

The referee was a farce! Everytime wind touched an Oldham player it was a free kick yet they kicked Moore to pieces and he gave nothing! Apparently at the end their subs were hugging him which got mentioned on radio on the way back.

What irritates me is Rochdale did it, Stevenage did it, Notts County did it and Oldham did it, this blatant cheating and yet we haven't one once against sides that so it, we need to rise above it and find a way to get a result. When their lad ran in front of Dicko as he burst into the box and dived (not even close to contact) Dicko about ripped the referees head from his torso but we need to keep calm in those situations and focus on punishing teams for it.

Their number 2 and the keeper did take it to another level though but as soon as they scored I said it was game over as you could see exactly the sort of side they were and that they were going to go to desperate measures to get the result. Sadly the referee bottled dealing with it early on.

As for our performance embarrassing first half, battered them second and should of scored a couple but it was too flat and not to the standard Id expect. Coventry is a huge game now we still need seven points to be totally safe. Play offs are over now, that was a game that you have to be winning to stand any chance of making them.

Get in, surprised with that but delighted. When we knocked it about in the first half we looked decent without creating too much, great free kick from jones though. Second half as above vale got a grip of the game but we defended well and managed to hold on. Kean made some very important saves and Lockwood had tom pope in his pocket all game.

Stop blaming the ref and calling Oldham cheats just because we lost. If you are 1 up away from home of course you will run the clock down.

Like I said it's our own fault for not rising above it. As for the referee did you even go the game?!

awful game, atrocious crowd, abysmal away support one of there lads was predicting 600 !! ref was a clown, keeper time wasting after 15 minutes of the game, however the real facts were Vale were too slow in our passing and in the 1st half we were truly awful. Woke up 2nd half and merited a point, more glaring misses than a good goalkeeping display from a bloke who needs look in the mirror with his antics and rolling around. Proper away job done by a mediocre side of which we are one, whoever gets 6th spot are kidding themselves as we are all as good or as poor as each other. The referee was an utter disgrace to his profession another 'little man' trying to justify his lack of height .That said none of his decisions were match changers although i thought the free kick was soft to say the least.Typical Vale but where oh where is the home crowd? took 1000 away on sat 3 wins in a row and one of worst gates of the season, shite

can agree our away support was shite, especially as we usually travel quite well. At the same time its hardly surprising having lost the last three without scoring and having lost our manager. Can also agree on the point about whoever makes the six, there is a gap in class between the top five and the rest of us.

Whoever makes top 6 you just know will win the play offs though! I debated if going up would actually be a good thing at the moment, you only have to look at Yeovil for the damage it does in the long run if your not ready for a crack at the Championship. Granted we had 7 or 8 good seasons there in the 90's but its more money orientated now and we had some excellent players then.

Our home crowds have never been great in League One, yet they seemed much better in league two which has always puzzled me personally!
