Wasn't there so can't comment but reading the forum sounds like Swindon did it quite badly but as I said after Oldham these teams do it and get what they want from us every time. We need to rise above it and if necessary do more of it ourselves. It's sadly a state of the modern game even down the divisions and we need to start doing it more. It works for everyone else so why don't we do it!

There isn't a team in the football league that doesn't employ time wasting tactics unfortunately. I don't know if we do it more than other sides or not but it's the refs job to clam down on it. Until they do teams will continue to take advantage, however unsightly it might be.

There's isnt a team in any of the 4 divisions that doesn't have certain players who dive, fake injury or time waste.

I'm afraid we've got a reputation for it more than most which is disappointing.

However, people are acting like their own clubs are totally innocent of it.

Let's just all agree that we all wish it was stamped out of the game and get on with it.

PS. I don't buy the argument that it's all the refs fault. It about time the players stopped fucking cheating and conning the refs.

No team is innocent of it Ravey but everytime ive seen us do it and i go every game home and away we get pulled up and booked but others get away with it against us. It was a good open game today untill Town went 1-0 up and then it started and never stopped. So our losing streak against you guys continues lol.

I wish our players went down occasionally. Ben Williamson went through 1 on 1 with the keeper on Saturday, could of easily get a toe to the ball before Foderingham got there and then would of been clattered resulting in a penalty... but no he bottled it and let Foderingham collect while jumping out the way.

Someone said earlier Swindon played 6 in midfield. 6 (S I X?!) No wonder it always looked like they had a player extra on the pitch. At one point in the opening stages I thought Swindon's number 14 was going to pull out a picnic basket, he had so much time on the ball he was literally strolling around.

Should have got at least a draw out of it but it wasn't to be! I won't go into the Graham Westley-esque tactics too much mind!

For the 1st 15 minutes the game was embarrasing, we were chasing shadows and looked a class apart, my lad commented 'these are the best team i,ve seen all season' . Swift looked like he could roll up a cigar and just took the piss. Eventually Vale woke from the slumber and arguablly should of got a point. Barn Door Williamson inexcusably not passing to Daniel for a one yard tap in was the worst, Thompson and the beardy who was pissing himself laughing ought to be ashamed of their tactics, but lets not detract from the fact they outplayed us from word go and once your behind to a decent side it,s a long road back. The top few are so far superior that really apart from premature excitement whoever finishes sixth will be mullered over 2 legs anyway.
