So far, we have home friendlies against Blackburn, Bradford and Huddersfield, and a week's training camp in Portugal with a game TBA at the end of this.

Anyone else bothering this year?

Usual game at Park Gate our training ground residents, then away games at Farsley Celtic, Bradford PA, Chesterfield and home games against WBA & Leicester.
Plus a week away with 2 games in Germany between the Park Gate and Farsley games.

Unusual for us to get any 'bigger' home games because they're usually rejected by the police or called off at late notice on police advice!

Oxford's pre-season sees us go up to Glasgow to play Rangers, got a couple of West London teams (Fulham and QPR) which makes sense given the short journey times. Then some games against smaller south-east and midlands sides like Woking and Solihull.

I'm not sure why the club isn't still doing it's European trips. Spain and Austria were very popular with the fans, very good numbers travelled.

Played a behind closed doors with QPR on thursday and drew 1-1 and today beat faversham 9-1

Still plenty of time for them to be called off lol, remember one getting the plug pulled the night before.
Played two 60 minutes games this afternoon beat Lincoln United 4 1 and Gainsborough 3 0.

Played Parkgate in the annual game at their home, our training ground, with two completely different teams in each half.

4 0 at half time - Crookes x2, Kayode and Smith.

7 0 at full time - Proctor x2, and Morris and for some strange reason didn't bother to replace Lamy when he came off injured after 72 minutes and played out the game with 10 men.

Not too sure whether we were more impressive than usual or that Parkgate were not quite as good TBH.

Incidentally, I thought we weren't going to get in, there were over 1500 there and there was a bloke going down the queue saying that he couldn't guarantee they would allow any more in.
Which would have been ironic as we had been in the bar since 10.30 for a 1 o'clock kick off, they delayed the kick off for 15 minutes and thankfully no-one was turned away.

On to two games in Germany next week.
