Someone has just put on Deva Chat that Mullen is on £11k per week.

Any confirmation of that (or denial).

either way he’s not going to be on a low wage, certainly not one wrexham would normally be able to afford.

Thing is lots of sides have basically bought their way out of the conference, fleetwood, crawley, mansfield, salford - it’s nothing new.

So you are not denying it then. It would seem a tad reckless.

I can't confirm or deny because I don't know.

Noone knows apart from the people who need to know. Apparently Cambridge offered him 3k a week, so its feasible we are paying more than than. 8 grand more though?

On the Notts county site they claim its 9k a week

Its like Quigleys apparent wage, it rises by 1k a week by the day.

Id hazard a guess that some guy on Deva Chat hasn't got a clue though. Before we signed Mullin they were pissing themselves that all our signings were apparently rubbish and that was just evidence that our owners haven't got any money and we were on the verge of bankruptcy

Not sure anyone in there is likely to be in the know about a Wrexham player’s wage. I think with the offer we know he had from Cambridge and the presumed interest from half of League One, maybe above, it’s fair to assume you’re looking at 4/5k as a minimum.

£4k is my guess. It won't be anywhere as silly as some are suggesting.

£11k would be a huge wage in League One, never mind non league.

Funny enough I found a website who had the "wages" of every player in League 2 .Paul Mullin was being paid £800 per week by Cambridge which is a fantastic deal for the League 2 top scorer. ( Danny Rowe was listed as £2400 per week)

If Wrexham can afford to pay £11k a week for a player they could have found one more accomplished than Mullin.

Exactly this.

Online guesses started at 4 or 5k and they soon escalated.

The truth is probably more like something around the 3k Cambridge were offering him (still a great wage at this level) bolstered by a load of add ons and bonuses.

I’d imagine that would be closer to the mark, most league 2 forwards are on somewhere between £2-4k a week.

4k-5k is still a whale of a wage for the next 3 years to be fair! He needs to deliver in a big way

He's probably on 5k with bonuses which, if hit, make it 7-8k

Goal bonus, appearence fee etc

We've added an option to pay £100 for a spot in our matchday bar for the season. Fans are kicking off.

The bar is pretty crap as well.
