Lost 1-0 at home to Bristol City.

Didn't go but general consensus was that so far there doesn't seem to be much change in our lack of ability to really create much in the final third and score goals. I'm anticipating that unlike most recent seasons, we'll be slow starters this year.
Played decent enough in the 2nd half. Scully and Poole stood out. Scully and Ogivile down the left in full flow will cause alot of problems. Poole reads the game brilliantly, good turn of pace, decent enough in the air for a "smaller" centre half. Norris looks like he's abit too calm sometimes in goal and looked poor coming for crosses. Looks like a side who have signed 12 new players. A little bit on different wave lengths. Think we'll be a slow burner of a start for us. Young lad Camara on loan from Norwich looks a player. Good turn of pace, decent first touch.

Scully is one of those players who instantly improves his LB.

So congratulations to Bristol Rovers on your title success, and commiserations to Wycombe who pushed you so close. Promotion as runners-up will no doubt soften the blow though.

And we likely say goodbye to Reading, Shrewsbury, Port Vale and Leyton Orient.

I'm off down the bookies to make some bets...

dammit, pipped at the post, though of course Gas fans will see this as karmic retribution for Lightningate.

Still, glad to know that we'll definitely be going up this season. Now I wonder if the starting XI we put out in the league will bear any resemblance to anything we put out in these games...

Thanks for doing the number crunching Si Robin.

We can still stay up, we’ve got Bishops Stortford away tomorrow - it’s down as the first team to play, but in truth it will only be 4/5 first teamers playing and the rest will be youngsters. Even I’m not going!

Peterborough, Vale and Wigan all played games that weren't standard 90 mins.

Derby and Wycombe might have been similar.

Shrewsbury is an odd one - definitely only 3 on record that I can see.

We had 7 or 8 but all bar 4 played behind closed doors (we dont even know the result of the Accy one other than both sides scored at least 1!)

Grimsby in 40c in Spain was 4 x 30 minute quarters and one of the BCD games was 70 minutes IIRC.

Only the Newcastle Town, Kidsgrove, WBA BCD and Doncaster games counted as standard 90 minute games.

Apparently we no longer do PSF. It was the same last couple of season's under Cotts.
Glad to see that at least we are continuing with at least one of his traditions
Also Micky Moore has been very busy bringing in his mates on the coaching side and his mates mates as players

Exmouth Town 1 Exeter City 3.
Although it was a young(ish) side 5 of the starters did figure in our L1 campaign last year and Kyle Taylor (just back from an 18 month injury) would almost certainly have played a big role.
So I respectfully request that our Cheltonian adjudicator re-assess the"final" table to include this local derby triumph.
I know it's only elevation to 12th but every little helps.

We’ve played behind closed doors friendlies that haven’t been mentioned - we played Huddersfield but no one knows the score, apparently we won 4-2.

Washington scored a hattrick against someone on Monday, but no mention of opposition. Warne mentioned it in his interview.

I can't work on apparently - this is a serious matter.

If it means that much to you then you can consider Exeter 12th - however I've deleted the spreadsheet now so can't redo it I'm afraid.

Thank you so much. I will treasure that newly elevated position with my whole heart!
