Are they admitting fans to these friendlies? Is your club streaming them live?

Wealdstone best Bedford Town, who have already played 6/7 PSFs to date, 3-1. Looked decent in the 1st half but as multiple changes took place, we were less effective. A number of trailists on show who were much bigger and stronger than we are used to signing. It will be interesting to see how this works with the type of pass and move football we play.

Two new forwards, from three rungs down the pyramid, both scored.

Match watched by a sell out crowd of 200.

Next up are Luton Town, which is being streamed but also we have sold 60 tickets to watch the stream from our bar. Open a door and you could just watch the game live!

Just beat Salford 1-0 under a bit of a tempest at Edgeley Park. County looked very good today in both halves, solid passing and attack play, don't think anyone on the pitch would've been below a 7/10

Agreed. Finishing apart it was a really good performance.

My biggest take from it was that we need to get Gilmour on a proper deal ASAP.

Calm down guys, it was a friendly. :woot:
Don’t worry we are well aware but we were crap in our first two so it was nice to see the us play so well and find a bit of cohesion.

Stones lost 0-3 at home to Luton's first team. Harry Isted played in goal and appears to be heading to the Stones on loan for the season from Luton, after their manager effectively confirmed it in his post match interview. Former Celtic midfielder Kundai Benyu looks to have been a trialist in midfield for us, most recently on loan at Helsingborg.

We're helping out some of the Mickey Mouse local sides, like Guiseley, Huddersfield and Mossley, with a pretend Cup Final. :ds:

We began our pre season with a 1-0 win at Basford United today. Two different XI each half. A very encouraging start against a team much further along in their preseason preparations

We're saying it was a good performance, nobody's wanking themself into a coma just yet
Do you reckon anyone has ever done? Wank themselves into a coma I mean. I reckon B2TF probably has a good go most days but its a pretty spectacular effort to succeed.

Lost 2-1 to Colchester United. Like the Luton game, played our first XI ish in the first half and took the lead, after we went down to ten. The ref chose to send off a player rather than ask him to be substituted as both managers suggested. Second half saw a team of mostly trialists - we were down to trialist M - and Us scored twice .

We've got Peterborough at home on Tuesday night. Mostly their under 18s and 23s, but I imagine there'll be a fair few local Peterborough fans who will come down for it anyway given that it's still unclear when they'll next be able to watch the first team. With that in mind, an attendance at the new max cap of 400 shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility, or so we'd hope.

1-1 in the end. His twitter updates weren’t actually that bad. I won’t watch his post match interviews though - I’m still fucking haunted by WHAT HE SAID to Mason Bloomfield.

This is the non-league section mate, you're in the right place.

Will be looking out for Bury's results.

Will have to inform you that any application for the brotherhood will be declined however.

Wealdstone won 6-0 at Northwood, having been scoreless at half time. Danny Parish scored a hatrick, five so far in pre season. He’s looking a very decent signing. Still lots and lots of trailists on show.

All against sides at Step 4 or below, I do like his movement off the ball and clearly he can finish with both feet but upcoming fixtures against Dartford and Havant should indicate whether or not he's likely to score goals consistently in the National League.

What I noticed last night was how much Jack Cawley and Ross Lafayette were communicating to their teammates, the latter in particular was encouraging the youngsters in the second half and getting them into position.

Hate pre-season usually, but it was good to finally be able to see a game again!

Think we've only got home friendlies left, so no chance of seeing any more before the season starts.

Sutton have only one game we can watch before the season starts, it's away to Haringey Borough. I don't normally look forward to a pre-season game.

We couldn't even manage a goal in our first few friendlies, when we re-launched ourselves, a problem we carried into our early league matches, the first of which, at home to Bamber Bridge, we lost 3-0. Next up, an FA Cup preliminary at home to Silsden, a suburb of Keighley which is itself almost a suburb of Bradford, was drawn 0-0, about as low an ebb as we were ever at since Halifax Town kicked of in the Yorkshire Combination in 1911.

It's a pretty low bar we set for you. :ds:
