We lost to both Blackburn on Friday and Carlisle on Saturday. Not ideal.
We don't seem to have started our 'strongest XI' in any of the friendlies so far with both teams over the weekend being made up of first team and trialists with academy players making up the bench.
Trialiasts in the game vs Blackburn were Dwight Gayle, Oliver Norwood, Liam Moore and Chanka Zimba.
No idea who the trialists were vs Carlisle.
Worst part of the weekend was Jack Strettn, Kyle Knoyle and Tayo Aderamola all going off injured.
Injury list now stands at:
Tanto Oloafe
Nick Powell (we assume but no one has seen anything of him.....)
Callum Connolly
Macauley Southam-Hales
Kyle Knoyle
Ryan Rydel
Jack Stretton
Lewis Fiorini
Michael Mellon (out for the season - i think)
Ridiculous considering we haven't even started the season yet!?
