You brought a scarf out cos you played west ham in cup 4th round ffs.
No we didn't. The club put standard red and white scarves on some home seats as we do a 'red and white night' most seasons. It was not a 'special' scarf for the Hammers game. It could have been worse, it could have been those bloody awful clapper things!
IIRC, it was a thank you to the supporters for putting up with being moved around during the rebuild. I think it was pure coincidence that it was the West Ham game.
Decent knowledge though bm89, I'm impressed.

Pretty confident we can finish in the top half again, our rumoured business is promising.

2. Norwich

Play offs
Sheff Wed
Hull
Middlesbrough

And a outside bet of Cardiff, Sheff Utd or Brentford to sneak in to 6th

Bottom 3 of Millwall Burton and maybe Ipswich

PNE to finish a respectable 11th for the 3rd time in a row

I feel confident that City will stay up
With the current squad, I can't see where the goals will come from but it's way to early to worry yet.
We'll be ok if we can get a proven goalscorer through the door and I have no doubt we will.

Djuric and Taylor should be ready for next season

I'm glad you think so CA1F.
I don't.
Dunno about this Djuric fella but I honestly don't think The Snake will be with you at the end of August or at least after January. It was one massive ( admittedly fine ) rustle, you know it, I know and that fucking oompa loompa that currently manages you knows it. He'll be farmed out to somewhere shit like Swindon or Plymouth before long.

I don't agree Aber. I appreciate you want to see him fall flat on his face at our level but he showed enough towards the end of last season to show he'll be ok in this division. He desperately needs a goal or 2, certainly, but he adds to the team which is all we can ask of a player from, with all respect, a lower level and no time to get used to a higher standard. Given a full pre season with us, he'll do fine. He's actually a better footballer than you lot give him credit for TBH. Yes, he's missed a fair few chances but I would be more concerned if he hadn't been in a position to miss them.
Squad player certainly, starter probably not, depending on who we sign to try and fill Tammy's shoes.
Djuric is a proven international for Serbia, once again, a tad off the pace at times but he will get there and if he wants to win the ball in the air, he will take some stopping at 6' 5. He needs service though.

I agree with him tbh, on the occasions they were upfront together they looked like they worked well together. As you said they Taylor desperately needs a couple of goals early in the season to get his confidence up.

I won't say good luck cos I don't mean it but honestly I don't think he's good enough for where you lot want to be. Obviously I'm still a bit salty about the whole episode but I reckon you'll be agreeing with me by January.

I'm not knocking them but that isn't enough for a complete season at this level IMHO. We definitely need reinforcements unless Gustav has suddenly turned into Messi!

Look at the positives Aber, Swindon have got Carlisle away on the opening day :fl: , you've got a good one in Charlton.

Yeah it was embarrassing, not as much as the fans that lapped it up

Give over AberG, he's more than capable at Championship level, he showed that when he was given a run of games in the side.

If he can regain his composure in front of goal he'll be ridiculously good because he's doing everything else right, £300k was and always will be a steal.

Could do with Bodin now mate, desperate for a good winger tbqfhwy...

On Taylor, his all round play was much better than we were led to expect, but I can't help but feel he's a bit Agard-esque. His touch is shocking. He was a good foil for Tammy but I'm not sure we can rely on him to score the goals in his absence. Hopefully I'm proved wrong.

Sorry not sorry Walkley
