We all might as well congratulate them on their easy 6 points over the next couple weekends. To be honest for me its more about current form and quality. I know you have quality and haven't lost for ages but MK have more quality in attack at the moment in my opinion and are on fire. You've been stuttering a bit lately, dropping points. Plus if you miss out on second now after being in the driving seat you'll be affected psychologically and when you factor in your poor play-off record it makes sense to me that you would be better opposition at this stage than MK. Of course you could still win them but we have no idea at this point.

Indeed massive pressure on both of you and its fascinating to see how it all pans out. To be perfectly honest I'm pessimistic for the play-offs but I would like to see us pick up some kind of form because the form team usually wins it which is why Chesterfield worry me a bit too. The other side of it is if MK miss out they might be psychologically fucked too, but as it stands I'd rather play you for obviously selfish reasons. I just want us to go to your place and go for it. We have nothing to lose, its a free game for us which is great for us but not so good for you, in my opinion. As a result this 'conspiracy' of Lee Power's just seems like a load of bollocks!

I'm sure we'll make changes to rest one or two or help some player get some form. Williams hasn't started for a few games or scored but he may start, would he be considered a weaker player? I don't think so considering he's scored 20 odd goals. Luongo was rested tonight. We're not going to play the academy side, we will still be competitive!

To be frank Inspector Todd, I would be very disappointed if we played a seriously weakened team on Saturday. It would be unprofessional, unfair and quite frankly suicidal for our play-off confidence. I don't think we're that confident at the moment so the last thing we need is a stuffing at Preston. A young lad came on tonight for only his 3rd ever league appearance but he was effective and provided us some much needed impetus on the wing so if he was to start (I don't think he will) I don't believe he would be a weaker player. The same goes for Hylton who we signed from Redditch in January. He looks good and puts himself about a bit and won us an albeit dodgy, penalty. I don't think he would be a weak addition either. I think both these players can provide us with some useful ability.

Furthermore, I just so happen to be in Blackpool this weekend so I might just get the bus over to Preston on Saturday and if I do I don't want us to play shit and get beat!
