I am genuinely speechless.

What a goal.

Sheer class.

I think the fact Beckford slipped makes it even more incredible - what a goal.

All too predictable in the end, if you'd watched both games you'd not be blamed for wondering if we've scored a goal all season. Still proud of the players for what they've done this season and the ride they've taken us on.

I suppose that's it from Paul Cook as well, it's shit how things have seemingly played out recently but cheers for a brilliant 2-and-a-half years. Hopefully there isn't a mass exodus of players but again, that is wishful thinking.

And he's a prick but you gotta applaud Beckford's goal, it was special. Congrats Preston.

Don't really get the pitch invasion, nothing to celebrate.

What a player Beckford is, not just for goals but works as hard as any striker I've ever seen.

Well done Preston. Feel deflated about the 2nd and 3rd goals arguably it's a flattering scoreline over 180 mins....but I wish you the best. Hope you win it. If

If Clucas scores that chance it's a different game. Bad, bad miss. I don't know why he didn't just slot it to the keepers right, there seemed more room there. I felt we had the better of the tie for 160 minutes but when you have no strikers, it tells. Preston are pretty steady at the back though. Congratulations Preston, good luck in the final

Always had a soft spot for them always bought great numbers to saltergate. Think we've done well to make 2 games of it. Scoreline side we didn't disgrace ourselves nor our, method

No idea why people were on the pitch, we've won fuck all. I did laugh at the guy who ran over to Ian Evatt and gave it the wanker sign in his face though, lasher twat.

Enjoyed being back on the Kop, miles better than sitting with the moaning fuckers on the Town End.

Jermaine Beckford is just different class but Bailey Wright was my man of the match, he absolutely dominated anyone who got near him. Welsh was superb yet again too.

Complete idiocy by that c***, Joe Murphy to give away the penalty which was put away by Garner with ease. First goal was a lovely finish by Beckford after Garner beat that massive carthorse, Evatt in the air and the third goal was just stunning.

Chesterfield are nice in possession but they never looked like beating us.

Radio 5live and former Radio Sheffield journalist tweeted 'Commiserations Chesterfield and good luck finding a new manager' (Seth Bennett). Paul Cooks gone then!?

Hard luck Spireites, hope to god we aren't playing you next season....but probably will be. PNE could equal our PO final loss record now.

I'll never understand the people who carry players round on their backs during pitch invasions, how sweaty must those balls be stuck on the back of your head.

Apparently Preston fans attacked Ian Evatt on the pitch invasion

Noticed that today. Grayson's obviously got the key to him as a lot of fans at other clubs would slate him for being lazy. Hassled Chesterfield well today.

Another game where Preston have won easily without really doing anything! I can understand some frustrations with the style of football but at the end of the day it's getting results. It's not a Grayson philosophy...maybe he just plays to his squad? I don't know enough about Preston but at Leeds our defence was so weak Grayson encouraged us to essentially score more than the opposition. It would often take 3 goals but we still managed it on a number of occasions! Well...whenever we didn't come up against Jon Parkin!

Yeah, didn't look good to be honest.
'Punched, kicked and spat at several times' according to reports. |If so, the book should be thrown, that's ridiculous

Have to say, i'd sign Chesterfield's right back in a heartbeat, Darikwa, is it? Jimmy Ryan and Clucas are handy players too.

Karma for the chesterfield goalkeeper after he was a complete bellend when Coventry came to deepdale.
