Watching the highlights, Murphy was at fault for all 3 goals. The first was saveable, he just wasn't set for it. The 2nd was just unnecessary, why on earth come that far out when the ball is going so wide? The 3rd, getting lobbed like that? Its a cracking finish and a great piece of opportunism by Beckford, but whenever a goal is scored from that distance, you have to look at the keeper and his positioning. Clucas has got to score that 1-on-1, terrible finish by him.

Well done to Preston, clearly had that extra bit of quality in both games. As for their fans who invaded the pitch, awful. Do these muppets know their team blew a chance to go up 7 days ago? Getting to Wembley is no achievement given that they should have gone up a week ago.

Despite the comprehensive scoreline, Chesterfield clearly didn't disgrace themselves at all. Maybe keeping Doyle might have made the difference in the long run, but they've still had a fantastic season which the whole club can be proud of. However, I do find it quite poor that Cook has already bolted, really poor from him. Balls to his reasons and whether they are fair or not, he should have told Pompey that if they wanted him, they would have to wait until the dust settles on Chesterfields season. Its similar to how Paul Buckle left Torquay for Bristol Rovers, very poor from Cook, thought better of him.
