Having watch Villa be a mainstay in the prem for such a long time, I was pleased to beat you like we did,but havent had the brass to give my good mate too much flack over it as one win doesnt cancel out the last 35 years.
I can imagine it's nice looking down on us at the moment. Like you say we've been the top performing club in the region for decades. I'd like to see both of us go up. It's a pity blues can't get their house in order and challenge. It would be great to have all three of us join the baggies.

I've been waiting for a few years for Bristol city to seriously challenge to get into the prem. I think a few seasons back you were favourites to get promoted. there is a lot of potential at the club, but it just never seems to go right.

You’re absolutely right. The potential is there and you can see it with the crowds coming in, the owner in place, the stadium redeveloped, academy status etc

However, since that play off final, we’ve made some bad decisions. We chased the dream and at the end of it, it had cost us huge amounts of money and years to get back on track. Paying silly amounts on managers and players alike! (David James)

Now, hopefully we’re finally heading in the right direction, permanently. Fighting at the right end of the table with some quality young footballers.

You are on a great run at the moment and you certainly have a chance of the play offs, although I personally don't think you will make it. If you don't, then it's important you try and keep improving for the following season and try again. Leeds and Wednesday are both on the fringes over the last couple of years, so keeping momentum is important.

Don't blame him, he's on to a good thing at wolves. Why ruin it?

It shows outstanding loyalty though. For a club like Everton to come calling and then reject them, fair fucking play. It shows his and Fosun's ambitions to really take us to the top.

They've not even come in have they?

He's rejected any interest in it. Lots of rumours but nothing official so far. If Jorge Mendes courts Nuno around other clubs though it will cause a rift between him and Fosun, and since Fosun invest heavily in Mendes' company GestiFute, it would be wise for him not to act. Lots of politics involved it seems.

So he's not rejected them whatsoever

Wolves are gonna win the league with their Champions League midfield and manager no doubt, we've certainly got the wrong end of the stick with Jorge Mendes.

Wolves are going up, certainly.
Title will probably be theirs, no one else seems to have quite the same level of quality in their top players.

A win for us and Sheff Utd fail to win tomorrow would give Wolves a 4 point lead over 2nd.

Our point at Molineux looking better every week.

People say that about quality though, although so far lost to both Cardiff and Sheff Utd. Cardiff it seems kicked the crap out of us, but Sheff Utd were just deservedly better than us.

I don't think everyone plays their best every game though. Cardiff we had no answer for, the Sheff Utd game could have been different if Coady didn't see red in the first 15 minutes. What impresses me about the team is we can win when we don't play to our best ability, but can still grind out a win (Barnsley, Notts Forest, Preston). Last season we would have drawn or lost games like that all day long, and to me thats the difference between a team in mid table to a team fighting it out at the top.

Like us last season, we only won a few games by more than 1 goal and people were complaining. How I'd love for that again...

Crikey, maybe we can challenge for a playoff place.

I was impressed with some of the stuff they were doing or trying to do today.

Also seeing the fight in this lot (literally fighting opponents) not rolling over is something they needed to be taught for the last few years in the club in general

Today confirms we are contenders imo. Lost on tuesday, 1-0 down at ht then just turn it on again and destroy the opposition. Quality quality side
