I think Leeds are the real deal this season, and they seem a much better team than last season which says a lot. Tough couple of games for them though.
Cardiff A
Wednesday A
Leeds, Wolves and Cardiff are looking good. We need to play better to have any chance, but I'm glad to say it looks like we have a chance this season.

Watched Villa a few times on the box and they don’t look much different to last season really. With the squad and manager they have it’s strange that they appear so average. Not seen enough of wolves to pass comment, Leeds on the other hand, and I hate to say it, look the real deal this season.

Not many neutral fans have seen us play because Sky prefer to televise about 6/7 shit Villa games before they consider showing other teams.

We are no better than last season going by our performances, and as I've stated things need to improve if we are to have any chance. As we speak though we are playing poorly, but 6 unbeaten. Looking at our team you would say it's good enough. Personally, I don't think we will make play offs.

It's purely business. You will find villa and Leeds regardless of form will be on more than anyone else.

We've not been as good the last three games but I think that's to be expected as teams realise that we are a threat this year and work out ways to combat us.

Next two games are very tricky and I do think we've played some more favourable teams so far. That said, there aren't any teams I'm genuinely scared of playing so I do think the league is there for the taking this year.

Considering we've done so well with a number of injuries to our back line, it is promising, we have looked excellent at times and we do have strength in depth, tells me we should be there or thereabouts. If we can keep our run going for another 5-10 games then all of a sudden your points haul from the remaining games to make the top six looks very achievable.

At the moment I'm still thinking we're more of a play-off side than league winners but maybe apart from Wolves fans, does anyone genuinely think they're gonna win the league? Just seems that sort of league to me this year.

I know what you mean about a genuine stand out team. You have not got a Newcastle or Brighton this season, and I do think it's more open.

No reason why we can't challenge with displays like today. That's not just momentum or just team spirit, some class in there too.

From a selfish point of view it's a good thing. The less games we have on TV means the less times we have sky fuck us over with kick off times. I love all these 3pm kick off times while they last.

Our first game on Sky is next month vs ... you guessed it.. Villa.

Certainly got a very good manager too: I reckon you'll challenge for the play-offs.

I don't think we're that good, but it's nice to be in the right half of the table. I'll settle for that come season's end.

I said on a previous thread I fancied Sheff UTD and Cardiff to have good season's and challenge for play offs. Now your just taking piss both in top two!

There isn't really any stand out team this season, if we stay consistent as we are the minute I'm sure we'll be challenging right at the top end. We haven't lost since the opening day and have took 11 points from our last 5 with 3 of those games being away from home.
