10 points to the first person who can spot when we had 8 defenders out injured?

Didn't know you had had injuries, same with Bristol City, I wish fans would keep us informed on these matters.
Must say I also would like to see yourselves get promoted. (Behind us in autos)

To be fair, it was the worst injury crisis i've known at PNE, was laughable.

Just got to hope other clubs around us have similar spells, which they probably will.

missed opportunity, couldn't score if it was another 90 mins, Roofe smashing the bar when it was easier to score cost us 2 pts

A day for Boro and Villa, hard to predict anything as it stands, bar Wolves going up.

We were poor today. Looked very tired despite making four changes.

Great to get a point, as we deserved nothing.

Just when you think Bruce is about to implode, he's pulls something out of the hat. Still don't know if we will make play offs though.

5 games in under 12 days with the same team due to injuries led to us having to forfeit last night. We will be back but I hope it hasn't knocked confidence too much.

Terry is back for Saturdays cup game against Peterborough, which is a huge boost. He probably won't be back to full match fitness for a couple of weeks, but so glad to have him back.

Pretty sure every team had to play a lot of games over Xmas. What is with BC fans using that as an excuse for getting hammered. "Er, we were super tired that's why we lost 5-0" Booo Hooo. Also you seem to think you are the only team that has a lot of injuries? OK...

Pretty awful post this. The fact is, all teams have injuries but some get it worse than others (poor old Preston had it really bad a few weeks back) and it does affect performances and results.

We've had a good third of our regular starters out since the beginning of December and in the space of fifteen days we had six games: Forest, Man Utd, QPR, Reading, Wolves and Villa... Pretty much the same eleven players started in all of those games because we haven't had the players available to rotate... Despite all that, we won 3 of those games, drew 1, and then had that last gasp loss vs Wolves before finally burning out yesterday.

It seems like you think we are trying to take away credit from your teams performance yesterday - We aren't. But at the same time, don't try and convince yourself that you are world beaters. You ruthlessly took apart an exhausted and depleted group of players yesterday. that were far from their best. Thats not an excuse, thats a fact.

See you in the playoffs probably.

Seems like the Bristol city manager was not happy with our fans for taking the piss, and even Bruce for flicking the ball about everywhere. Take it on the chin mate, and stop taking yourself too seriously.

and in the space of fifteen days we have played five games against Derby, Boro, Bristol, Sheff Utd and
Brentford. So? Pretty sure 7 or 8 of our players will have played in all of them. It's part of the game. We have had shitty luck with injury's as have most teams in the league.

zzzz. Just let it go mate.. We were massively depleted and exhausted yesterday, which combined with VIlla playing pretty well, meant we got thrashed. That's really all there is too it. Yes I am sure most teams will go through an injury crisis this season. We are having ours at the moment. Well done on your victory, now move on yeah?

All I am trying to do is to point out that BC are not the only team to be in that situation. The fact that you believe you only lost because you were the more "tired" team and all 11 of your players were "totally exhausted" is hilarious.

Anyway, I am now done. Sure the rest of the BC lot will have fun replying to this. Bye.

Alright then' We had no injuries whatsoever, we were at full strength and we lost because Villa played an absolute masterclass of attacking football of which not even Barcelona could cope with. No team in history ever has lost heavily due to injury and fatigue. Jesus christ, are you deluded or what? Glad to hear you are "done". Don't rush back.

We played 1 more game over the Christmas period than anyone else. And 7 of our first 11 have played the most minutes of any player during the festive period. It makes a difference.. if you couldn’t see that our players were clearly knackered yesterday then you’re deluded.

But yeah, as Luke said.. clearly you’re the championship equivalent of Manchester City.. wolves better watch out!

Speaking of Man City.. We've got bigger fish to fry! Should have Famara and Djuric back for that one, plus a weeks rest for the others.

Would you rather win the league cup or go up?

I knew once you beat united, that your form would dip. I'm just glad we managed to beat a play off rival for once. The 5-0 is just a bonus, but I'd hardly go about shouting that we beat Bristol City 5-0. I think your manager needs knocking down a peg or two though. His post match remarks were like that of a little baby who never got its own way.

Promotion 100%. A European tour sounds fun but we'd only get knocked out by some team from Kazakhstan!

What do you mean? We've got them over 2 legs from next week. I'm not saying we're gonna beat them of course!!
Meant the bigger fish to fry comment aimed at us. Chances are City will ease past you, and that game against us could be the game that see's your season start to crumble. It probably won't, because I think you're a good team, and should bounce back, but don't down play the game against us as nothing.
