Yep, you didn't think we had any fans in brum did you?
We are trying to relocate to our spiritual home, which is Staffordshire.Well it's a Birmingham club, so yeah. Shouldn't it be Warwickshire lions or west midland lions? Certainly not Staffordshire lions either way.
Derbyshire can extend itself a few miles, and have Burton as its representatives.Burton say they don’t want you.
3 points off the play offs now our injury crises seem to be largely over, though we still don’t have a LB - keep this run we’re on going and we should find ourselves catching up and overtaking a fair few teams.
My worry is that we're likely to lose a player or two if anything this month, but our form is really good, we're playing well, not conceding too many goals (with the exception of playing Wolves), and I'd fancy our chances against most sides now, maybe Derby and Bristol excluded (though City's run of good form might be coming to an end).Well involved now you lot and Fulham. Our run has become a bit concerning but maybe the new signings may give us that extra bit of spark to try and kick on and push for a playoff spot. We've certainly sorted the defensive issues out so let's see.
I don't think we will, but we shall see.As a Villa fans its so hard not to believe we can do it this season
Nah, you will put a good run together again.another couple of weeks and we can slide into midtable thread

We started the season with a blip! You've also got to think derby will have a minor blip too, not guaranteed but a very good chance of it.

We started the season with a blip!
Not as bad as the blip we started the season with!We started the season with a blip!
Christmas period/January was always going to be our ‘blip’ with the amount of games coming up and League Cup Semi Final. Trouble is, we have a very good starting eleven but our second string are not up to it. Having to rely on youngsters and the likes of Woodrow and Taylor. It simply was going to catch up with us! Not to mention the injuries that have occurred, particularly to our forwards.
Ah well, I hope after January is over that we would have made one or two more quality additions and the fixture list looks a lot kinder to us. We will also have key players back from injury.
After Derby on Friday we have to play QPR, Bolton and Sunderland. All the pressure is on the big boys
Worst thing you can do is underestimate bolton, Sunderland and qpr
I’m not underestimating anybody, but it’s there in black and white. If you want to be successful, you have to get points against opposition in relegation places. Course I’m going to say I’m happy with those 3 fixtures, you would yourselves.
No win in 3 for wolves, the weather turning colder, are the wheels coming off. Pressure on now, let's see what they are made of. Crisis time at the club, fans are having second thoughts about turning up. Not good.
Lets put it into context, 2 of those 3 games we made 8 and 9 changes for the FA Cup games and more than matched a very strong Swansea team. The other was a 0-0 away to Barnsley who are one of the best sides I have seen against us this season. Wheels are well and truly off mate. Also I think the weather is getting warmer but I won't argue meteorology with you on a football forum.
Can't believe you even bit
I thought the wink emoji covered it. Next time I'll type in big bold letters "I know this post was tongue in cheek" at the bottom of my post.
Pretty pointless going to the effort of writing then really wasn't it, should of just gone straight in with wink mate. Who have you got at the weekend I'm past even looking at you're fixtures?
Forest at home, could be difficult with them just getting Karanka. Should win though. Ipswich away after that and then its our game at home to you. Dreading Leon Clarke coming back, never thought I'd say that
We seem to of lost our attacking spark at the minute, the initial 5 or 6 games or so of our bad run was down to some poor defending/ keeping and that's what was costing us despite still playing well going forward, recently the defence has sharpened up big time but it's certainly not the same going forward, if we can get that back then we are easily capable of putting a fantastic run together like we did for the 1st 16 games or so and if that is back for the game against you it could be a cracker, although you're firepower seems to have dropped as well but you've still ground out the wins and kept clean sheets which is exactly what champions do.
