I'm not convinced. Scored 1 goal in our last 4, Bonatini looks a shadow of the player we had at the start of the season. Think Nuno needs to freshen things up, teams have learnt how to play against us.
I reckon you'll avoid the drop

Wolves have to fly to Mars and do some training up there to miss out on the top spot now ..

The 2nd spot is up for grabs tho ! As Villa fans are aware ..

Fulham look good just now .. as do Boro .. I think Bristol will fall away. Sheff U look strong to me. They should have had all 3 points at PP. Leeds ? Just when you think they've nailed it they lose ! Cardiff are like brisstol .. they will fall away ..

My prediction as of now ..

1.Wolves
2.Villa
3. Boro
4. Sheff U
5. Derby
6. Fulham

Since boro have got pulis in, I'd definitely say they will be up there. Another great effort from Bristol city last night, but I think it will cost them the play offs.

Well we are out of the competition now and have the same number of games left to play as everybody else. Injuries are clearing up too so we should be fresher.

Half the division still in the FA cup arent they, so we'll have less games

I know yeah. All the clubs around us have won. My mind games with wolves has had a bit of a set back. Good win for Bristol City.

Yep, massive today. Could have quite easily let our head drops after the sending off.

Great win after going down to 10 men on a bad run, fair play

Very pleased with Wolves getting back to winning ways, 19 games left and 12 points clear over 2nd even if they have a game in hand. Got Sheff Utd, QPR, Norwich and Preston (not sure of the order but Preston is the only away game) and so if we can string a run of either 9 or 10 points from those I'd be willing to start thinking about days out next year.

Fulham are looking superb. That was a massive win for wolves today. Grinding out a result against a stubborn team.

Yep, potentially season defining for us. To go a man down with 70 minutes to play and having the spectre of an 8 game winless run hanging over your head is a real test of character. We did brilliantly.

Got a lot of sympathy for Johnson.
He worked so hard to manage that 9 game losing run last season, and despite his best efforts could only manage a 7 game winless run this time.

Bad set of results for us. So many players out with injury or leaving this transfer window doesn’t help, but still. Long way to go, most likely result is top half but no play offs again (which tbh is a great result considering our wage bill)

Like yourselves bm89, apart from the Villa game, we haven't been playing badly.
Now we've got the cup stuff out of the way, plus we've strengthened and have our injured players coming back, we're looking quite strong again.
We could hang around in the top echelons TBH and could put a bit of pressure on the rest IF we win on Friday.

Bristol got a decent run of opponents lined up too, not a crazy thing to say they could get 12 points. Fulham will obviously be tough but still think Bristol showed enough to suggest they could win all 4.

*Apologies when you quote this after you inevitably lose 17 games in a row now.

QPR, Bolton and Sunderland was almost the ideal set of teams to face when on a run like we were on.
Obviously only one game done, but you'd fancy us to win Friday night.

Out of interest, how many of Cardiff's team have been charged with assault after their match today?
I bet the entire PL is absolutely gagging for Cardiff to be promoted. Let's put Warnock's strategy of Neanderthal football onto the world stage, eh?

The last two visits we've had down there, they have bullied us off the park.

A Spurs mate text me in relation to the game and asked 'are they always like this?' I pointed out they can be worse when they are allowed to get away with more in the league. Granted they fully deserved to beat Wolves, but at the time the general attitude was 'Wolves foreigners don't understand the physicality of the league' where as the commentators attitude yesterday was more 'no one wants to see this sort of thing'.

The challenge that the defender put in on Sane was disgusting, I've personally got no issue with the tactic, most people who've probably played football have taken a similar booking. However it would have been very easy for him to have clipped the guys ankles or just slid straight through and swept his legs, both fouls that would leave virtually zero damage. However the attacking of his angle inner calf was Sunday league thug-esque.

Agree mate. I quite like the way warnock sets his teams up to play at times, and a few of our fans were moaning about it. I just told them our lot need to toughen up a bit. There is a line though, and you've got to be an utter twat to try and do damage to someone on purpose.

Whatever your thoughts on Cardiff's style of football, I'm sure we can agree there is no place for this. Vile.
