Cardiff need to win tonight, we are flying up the league and could be a threat in this thread...

Bruce has underperformed though if you don't achieve promotion.
Definitely, but he's hitting minimum requirement in my eyes at the moment, which is the play offs. Some fans have said he's failed as he's not made automatic promotion, which I think is a bit extreme. With the team we have, we really should of pushed for the top two a lot harder, but it wasn't to be. Last season was always going to be hard, and there were pros and cons, regarding how Bruce handled last season. For many this season was the big one, but with how tough the league is, we've not quite performed how we should have. What annoys me is, that he got little credit from a lot of fans when we were on good runs, but the moment we lost 2, or 3 on the bounce, they were straight on him. If we fail to go up, he will be gone, and I'd probably agree with it, but I'm not entirely convinced a new man would get us any further than where we are now. At some point Bruce would get us promoted. Until he fails, the fans should get behind him.

Brentford back in this now? Four points off sixth, but with only Fulham from the top ten to play.
I think five points is too much to make up at this stage, especially when they have to overtake five teams.

You're right, it's not just 5 points they have to make up, it's the teams above them having to drop points too. Very unlikely all the teams above them will mess it up.

We've been very good since January. I don't know about the other sides.

I might have to eat my words about Millwall. They are right in it now. I can't but think looking at the table, that we have made hard work of our season. Too many poor spells.

Decent game that. Sheff unlucky and should feel gutted conceding so late but didnt take there chances. Cardiff there typical robust selfs. Watching that there is a part of me thinks Wolves will kill them if they play as open as that against us, then however I see there keeper launching one 85 yards at the strikers surrounded by support and I worry about dealing with that all game.

We’re very good away and pretty shite at home. Fancy us to beat Reading but not confident about Leeds at home.

Can't believe we completely fucked up the last 2 games and we're still only 3pts off.

We won't close the gap but Christ, Boro look like they've completely shat their pants.

If someone could spike Adama Traore’s water bottle with a few ounces of Ket before each game between now and the rest of the season I think that would be one less challenger to think about.

We need a convincing win tonight. Will probably be our lowest crowd of the season tonight.

In a season of heroes, step forward Oskar Burr...I think that's his name. Funny thing football, would have been devastated with a point at the start of yesterday. Still feels like a cock up but being 2-1 down and then scoring so quickly I am pleased with the point.

Tiring emotional game last time out, limited changes and missing our tempo setter and a vital wingback we don't have a replacement for. Separate performance from what has been achieved, which is a tiny step closer with no one gaining on us.

Just looked at the table; so tight for those last 2 places. Seems like a lot of teams have hit mid table form (WLD, WLD etc) without hitting form. Then you have teams like Millwall coming from no where staking a last minute claim. Looks like no one wants to go up.

Last 6 or so games means that teams out of form need to come back into form and if they do, they will be a threat to Fulham and Villa (I think they will finish3rd and 4th).

A few years back QPR were in the play offs but we had no form what so ever and QPR fans weren't confident.

Having said that, I think the top 6 will stay as they are. I think Derby have to come back into form and Pulis will have enough to get Boro to stay in there.

You'd like to think so wouldn't you, yet Fridays result against Sunderland was just a perfect example of how fragile and nervous we are. When we get a set back we just absolutely fall to pieces, I reckon if PNE would have converted their first half penalty on Monday they would have cruised to a win over us.

Bolton at home on Saturday is a must win because I'm not sure we can rely on those below us to keep messing up.
