Feck me if Sunderland can hold onto the lead there is 2 points separating 6 teams for the 2 play off spots.

Proper Scrap

We've been like this a while mate.

We're done, have been for a while. Hopeful we could turn it around tonight but quite obvious we can't.

Thankfully we had a purple patch and got some points on the board.

I would have to say Millwall are the most likely in my eyes. Could even finish 5th. There form over the past 10-15 games has been incredible.

Every credit. PNE could jump into 5th with a early kick off win against Derby on Monday though.

After the disappointment of this afternoon, big sigh of relief that Boro and Derby have missed big opportunities. Beat Derby on Monday and we go 5th. Very much still in it despite all the pant pissing from our fans on Twitter.

Gone under the radar a bit tonight but we have mathematically made a playoff spot this evening (anyone from Middlesbrough down can't catch us even if we lose every game)

Christ, bet you’re glad you’ve got that wrapped up, must have been worried you’d miss out.

Also gone under the radar, but despite winning our last 2 games, we're just going to fall short of the playoffs.

Cheating Aston Villa at it again I see. One of their players (Snodgrass) punches away a free kick, and the referee doesn't see it. Same against Wolves 2 weeks ago and they get away with it again.

Oh it's Jack Grealish, cheating c***

Whoever does get them last 2 spots will definitely prefer to get Aston villa over Fulham.

Not sure, Villa pumped us at theirs and we've outplayed Fulham twice this season. We play them at their own game and get more joy as they try to come onto us, whereas Villa are hard to break down and we wouldn't do them in the home leg.

Id prefer villa personally but wouldnt expect to go through i dont think, ive just been looking at all the fixtures and Preston deffo have the easiest run of the 6. We've got to play 4 of the 5 others. Great end to the season, some huge games

Us, Derby and Sheffield United have the toughest run-ins. I expect Boro to make it through their fixtures fine. Bristol City and PNE have the other easier set of fixtures but the former are badly out of form. Smart money is on Boro and Preston, then, but there is at least one play-off six pointer every week from now until the end of the season. It’s going to go right down to the wire.

Stan wifebeater Collymore is piping up on twitter about Wolves. I see he didn't take the rejection of being released very well.

I just hope for the sake of the integrity of the football league that we will get a referee that's strong enough and will protect our players against the wolves thugs in the title decider next week.
