Depends what kind of signings United make, that squad as it is will not stay up, I know we said that when they came up to the Championship but the Premier League is a different beast. If they are signing players like Assombolonga and Gayle then they'll probably do a Cardiff but come down with a really strong Championship side to bounce back like Burnley did.

I remember saying that about Cardiff this time last year Liam. It felt like they were building an extremely strong Championship side. The fact that they nearly stayed up might have complicated things but, with their squad, they should be close to an immediate return and in a much stronger position financially.
Credit where it's due re the Blades though, Wilder is one hell of a Manager and if anyone can keep them up it's him.

You think they will be throwing 15/20million on strikers ? They will yo yo for a few years with parachute payments ,they have good teamwork and squad bonding as the team been together a few seasons thats whats helped them , but when 30/40k a week players come in will it change ,still im pleased a proper club has gone up , next season would be nice if leeds weds and forest followed them up

Do you not think that’s a bizarre stance to have for a fan who doesn’t support Leeds? Yeah Leeds went 2-0 but it was hardly deserved. A ricochet off the post tap in was just about as lucky as the chance Marriott converted.
