Has to be Millwall and probably Middlesbrough automatic. Villa or Leeds to win the playoffs. Derby to be leading the division until March then lose to Scunthorpe in the other play-off.

4 top 10 finishes in a row for us - expect us to finish in and around 6th place again

I have a terrible feeling Wednesday will win the league next season.

Confident we can go one better with full/ settled seasons from Maguire and Harrop.

Could see some out-goings but don't think they will derail us, Cunningham would be the main loss but Earl has a big future.

Fully expect to get slapped in our first game back to completely evaporate any enthusiasm, but if Millwall and Sheff Utd can get top half in their first season back then we can too.

Millwall and Sheff Utd had good managers.

You've made it clear that you don't rate Mowbray but he's managed to turn around a sinking ship and with a couple of good signings the momentum could carry us.

Momentum is a huge influence, could easily see you having a decent mid table season.

Sheff U clearly benefitted from momentum early on, backed it up with good performances down the road but after the first 15 or so games their form was mid table / lower mid table

it will all depend on your start Roversfan, an early loss of form and it becomes hard work but a steady start and it becomes easier.

Fully expect us to be back at the right end of the table this time, won't be spending a lot but will be lowering the squad age by doing what PNE etc have done by going for PL u23 players deemed not good enough, will no doubt dip into Dutch and German market too.

It will be telling to see how much 'fitter' we are after this pre season, we were blowing out of our arse under Carlos even in August.

We'll be too busy battling relegation next season.

Expecting to cash in on Forestieri or someone of value this summer to balance the books or having one last big crack at promotion?

I think you and Brum will have much better seasons than you have done this, Hull and Norwich also.

Problem for Blackburn is, they have multiple loanees and a few key players getting on and will need replacing. We look in better shape, our oldest regular starter is 26 and we had one of the youngest sides in League One, so confident under the management of Cook and his excellent backroom staff that these players will continue to develop.

Just seen that that takeover is going through; could be a turbulent season if these foreign owners aren't quite what some are making them out to be...

Well we’ve just signed Cook up long term so he must be happy with what he’s heard.

Doubt we will sell Forestieri, he looks like his old self in his attitude and playing wise, we may offload some though probably Rhodes, Abdi etc.

We just need to get back to basics fitness wise and see where that takes us.

Norwich may struggle again if Maddison goes.

No they aren’t, they sold their shares in that company a while back. I swear we went through all this months ago in the L1 section. I’ll find the thread so we don’t ruin this one.

SoutheySWFC I take it back about Hull. Just read that Hernandez, McGregor, Dawson, Clark, Meyler, and Odubajo (he's still alive??) are out of contract. Madness.

Not to mention the absolute cluster fuck behind the scenes with the Allams think it maybe a similar season again.

Could well be. What a coup Meyler would be for either of us on a free, I'd be over the moon with that especially as it seems Pack's moving onto bigger and better things.

Dawson, Meyler, McGregor and Hernandez.

That will be an absolute shit-ton of wages.

What you reckon, £100k a week? I'm guessing Hernandez is on insane money.
