They play Accrington on Saturday. Yes, Accy might be hung over from tonight, but they'll surely still be gunning for the title. That's harder than Lincoln imo.

Maybe my reading of home and away games is skewed because Notts are so good at home and so bad away, but a trip to Sincil Bank is a much harder prospect than hosting Accrington for me, particularly when they've just sealed promotion so might have a bit of a hangover on.

Apart from Rhead none of our players throw themselves on the floor. Especially our defenders. DEFENDERS diving all game, aren't they meant to be the tough ones?

When we played Exeter here a couple of weeks ago we finished the right side of a 3-2 thriller, end to end best game of the season.

That tonight was tosh. Wycombe have got NO hope if they go up.

That's what Wycombe do. That's what Accrington do. Oxford and Northampton did it in the last few seasons and went up

Well we looked nervy tonight. Sublime in patches, but mostly it was poor. The first fifteen minutes of the second half was the worst football I've seen this season. Still, it's all about results.
Winning the next three is a tall order, and to not go up with 85 points would be gutting. Come on Accy, do it for us. Do it for football

Only have ourselves to blame because it should have been maybe 3 or 4 goals for us in the first half. Second half Wycombe used the wind far better and had the ref in their pocket all game which didn't help, only annoy the home fans even more.

I know we can be attritional but Wycombe took it to new levels tonight, but it's still a decent away point.

Of course, every team take this piss when they need to. We are certainly no angels, as many take joy in pointing out. Tonight, Wycombe were shameful. From their very first dead ball they were running the clock down. Truly embarrassing. The referee more so, for doing absolutely fuck all about it.

The mini league between Coventry Lincoln and Mansfield is interesting, didn't realise Coventry and Lincoln still had each other to play, so if we did win our last 3 games (odd though it sounds) we'd be in the playoffs, after that run its still in our hands, which is crazy

Coventry can steal a march on Friday night with a home win over Stevenage, Lincoln entertain Colchester while we welcome port vale.

Not surprised to hear Wycombe were time wasting early on and it was anti football. It sounds like a carbon copy of our recent home game with them. But if you can’t break them down like we couldn’t you only have yourself to blame imo. Two good away points for the Chairboys even if it involved a combination of mild brutality and some of the lower league dark arts.

All the young Imps seem to do on here is either fawn over their management team or moan about the opposition , referee , and overanalysis individual moments in a game that went against them. It’s like they are new to football

Maybe because we played them first game away and it wasn't really evident then?

Seeing it written on a forum and seeing the actual state of it in the flesh are 2 very different things entirely!! You cant really comment on a game against Wycombe without mentioning it as it such an integral part of their game.

the worst I've ever seen us "manage the game" was strangely against AFC Wimbledon at theirs (at the time featuring one A. Akinfenwa).

literally any time Akinfenwa so much as breathed on one of our players, they'd fall to the ground hoping to win a free kick (and perhaps in an act of karmic justice, Akinfenwa never gets free kicks given in his favour even for us).

I remember us scoring at the death to beat them at their place over Xmas, and ainsworth was complaining about how long had been added. The ref was like, it's your own fault

I know. It's like, "er...extra time is really only of benefit if we're trying to get an equaliser or a winner, guys".

It's *not* that hard. Otherwise the only timewasting you should be doing is hoofing it out of play whenever possible, or running it into the corner. Oddly I don't think we do the latter that much, considering Akinfenwa would be perfect for it.

One of my favourite moments of this season was us scoring 2 90 minute plus goals, the second being in the 98th minute, to beat them at their place this season. Absolutely brilliant karma in action that day.

Down here in Devon we've got a 'proper chap' in charge, and would never result to time wasting and deliberately cheating to try and win a match / hold on for a 0-0 draw.

On Wycombe, they’ve won 4 points from injury time goals against us this season, fair play to them even if it’s not easy on the eye, we had a similar knack of pulling results from everywhere during our great run last season.
