Don't think we'll go up, we lack a goalscorer and have done all season but somehow we've made the playoffs in our first season back.
Even better we pissed Mansfield off, bonus!

Would like to give a personal well done to Dave shitcroft at Mansfield, you’ve done a spectacular job.

When you started at Mansfield you said you didn’t want to finish in the playoffs, and well done you’ve achieved that - within 33 points to play for - you’ve taken us from 8 clear of 8th to leading us to 8th - 3 points behind 7th .

Within that period you’ve managed 12 games and got 12 points - relegation form - you’ve managed SIX home games and achieved 0 wins. Infact you lost 3 home games in 6 when evans lost 1 in 17.

You’ve got caught out time and again by opposition managers, Mansfield fans and the players themselves over your ridiculous tactics. Today summed you up when you cocked up so badly at home to bloody crawley - crawley for gods sake - who hadn’t nothing to play for - that you had to make 2 subs within the 1st half hour.

It’s been announced he’s here next season - please immediately discount us from any chase for the top 7. He’s more likely to relegate us.

How is it Adam that you never never get your stats correct. Only lost two at home and not three.

Considering 22 other teams not involved in the play offs get a share of the final gate receipts too who aren't involved with it, I wouldn't pipe up too loudly.

Well, lucky everyone in the league then... Our two fixtures will be paying for a weeks wages each team.

So it was, and I’d tried to correct it. By and large though, I’m right. 4 points from 18. Wow. Amazing.

Good luck to all League 2 play off contenders, except Exeter, Lincoln, and Notts County of course :P1:

I'd have preferred County or Coventry, really.

We have no fit full backs as of FT tonight. Habergham missed the game anyway, Eardley came off injured and his replacement was on the bench but wasn't fit (chasing the game at that time was probably why he wasn't risked).

As I said a couple of weeks ago, feels a bit like we've stumbled into the PO's even if we had a couple of good results against Colchester and Coventry in the last couple of weeks.

We've all stumbled into the play offs, none of the play off contenders have been consistent. Hence why there's only 5 pts difference between 4th and 7th

Exeter and County have been in it for a large part of the season, you and us have been in and out a few times (or so it seems).

High PO points this season.

Blackpool stumbled into the play-offs last season on 70 points.

I'm not saying we'll win them by the way, cos I don't think we will, but I'm just saying...

The play offs last year were a rollercoaster. Jack Stacey’s goal was to get to Wembley was the best moment ever at SJP but to lose to Blackpool and their 7 fans was a kick in the nuts.

Lincoln are the one team I wanted to avoid. They’re used to big games and seem to come out on top. Luckily we have key players coming back from injury. Moore-Taylor playing today was huge. Hopefully we can get through but suspect it will be tight.

Just to clarify, nobody was leaving Field Mill yesterday thinking ‘Those bastard Imps, annoying little fuckers’ All frustration and annoyance was aimed at the players and manager. *Coventry also drew

We would of been a waste of time in the Play-offs anyway, so it really didn’t mean much to me. I hope Flitcroft goes but he will probably manage to get Mansfield in the play-offs next season somehow despite being a absolute tool.

It’s a really poor situation, and there is no way I’m getting a ST with him in charge.

I hope Exeter win the play-offs, but it wouldn’t surprise me if County/Lincoln did it via a hoof and rebounding off somebody’s arse.

Magpies boss Kevin Nolan and his assistant Richard Thomas personally delivered a couple of crates of beer and bottles of champagne to the visiting dressing room after the game to congratulate the Hatters on winning promotion

If we have given County 4000, the overall number of capacity of the ground will be further limited due to the segregation in the concourse.

That and the front 3 rows having to be blocked off, the maximum attendance will only be 27,000.

Watched 46 league games live this season on i follow is that good enough for you

Just seems with your posts that you’re tuning in and watching the wrong team.

What I don’t get with Flitcroft is that it’s obvious his methods have produced the same result at Bury, Swindon and now Mansfield. Repeating the same mistakes over and over.

Why does he think it’s going to change in his favour. His over training has injured players at all 3 clubs, all 3 clubs have suffered long lasting poor form, he’s ostracised any popular player, failed to promote any promising youth players.

Why would any Mansfield fan think things will change much next season?

It’s weird how shite he’s been for Mansfield, and Swindon but you lot probably would of been in the play-offs if he didn’t leave.

He’s such a weird example of a manager.

Flitcroft going in at Mansfield has reminded me of Gannon going in at Port Vale.

I know the teams were at different stages, but both seemed to try and change too much, too quickly.

Have Mansfield suddenly got a huge injury list too?

David Flitcroft has essentially ended Mayor and Cameron’s promising careers via recurring injuries.

Will be great to give him some stick next season if he’s still around at Mansfield.

They never took too kindly to Gannon because he lost his first game against us and then spent an hour in the bar with Crewe fans which incensed the Vale support. That, and the fact they'd just lost a very popular manager who may well have got them promoted that year, was hard to take for the Vale. Didn't help he was undermined by the backroom staff as well.

Good man Jim Gannon is, but very very abrasive (worse so than Micky Adams who was that type of manager himself) and I reckon he lost those Vale players within the first week of his brief tenure there.

Unless he repeats the same form in the first 10 games next season he will be.
