I'd add in Tranmere (if they get promoted) and think either Rochdale or Oldham will be there or thereabouts too. I have a sneaky suspicion Stevenage may do well next season, Alex Revell is a great lower league marksman and they signed John Goddard from us, if he hits form they have a very talented player on their hands.

I think we could draw parallels to Lincoln (Tranmere) and Swindon (Oldham). think Rochdale and Northampton will be going for the mid table trophy.

Macclesfield....I think they may surprise a few.

Can't really argue with any of that, so I won't :)

Fucked if I can muster enough enthusiasm to think about next season. Get Saturday out of the way, congratulate Accy properly and forget the whole shit storm of a season.

I do quite like the pre season transfer rumours - especially the ones where a decent player is rumoured to be on his way only for the reality to deliver up another Luke Norris.

Devon_Lad is talking out of his arse.

There is a section of our fan base who have never seen bad managers at the club so they have no contrast or context.

We aren't playing the best football this season but equally we are not bad. Compared to McNab, Blake and all those c*** we are doing alright with tisdale.

And so what if he gave you a wanker sign? Fair enough in my book. You hear worse things said and done on the big bank most weeks.

From the EFL re the Play Offs...

Sky Bet League Two

If Mansfield Town finish in sixth position, any fixture versus Notts County or Lincoln City will take place at 3pm on Saturday 12th May.

If Notts County finish in sixth position, any fixture versus Lincoln City or Coventry City will take place at 3pm on Saturday 12th May.

In the event of either of the above first leg ties requiring to be switched to 3pm, the tie between seventh and fourth will move to 7:30pm. In such circumstances, both second leg ties will also switch.

If neither Notts County or Mansfield Town finish in sixth position and Coventry City finish in seventh position, ties will be reversed to ensure Coventry City’s home leg kicks off at 7:30pm.

In all circumstances both second leg ties will also switch.

2/5 with one bookie.

I could imagine him at MK for some reason, but it he did go there he’d get the play offs out of the way first. May happen but I am skeptical if he will ever go to another club. He’s said in the past he may leave football altogether and start his own business.

The very idea that Tisdale got any goals out of Richard Logan, let alone 18 of them, means that he must be quite the manager. He was absolute dogshite for us, although maybe he got crocked with you which led to him turning pish.
Ha, he was bloody lazy at times for us but had spells of good form. Think he scored double figures in L1 so he had ability but just couldn’t be arsed some of the time.

Soon after leaving you, he practically retired from football and was still in his 20s I think. Says it all.

Richard Logan. There's a blast from the past. One of the many striker's KA signed!

Quite looking forward to a pressure-free game at ML tomorrow while following the other goings on re the play-off places.

Surely Cov or Lincoln won't blow it... will they?

Same here, need to avoid defeat for the obvious reasons but great to be safely in the playoffs and not to have to worry on a nice warm Saturday afternoon in front of another large crowd at the Lane.

It’s just a shame we didn’t win last week Cos then the game and crowd would of been on a different level

Any crowd bigger than Field Mill’s capacity surely has to be considered big for this league? What is it nowadays about 10,000?

Once again Bargain Stag Abroad you really need to check your info :told:, the crowd was 10,316 vs Coventry at full £20/22 tickets for adults.

Try again Costa :£

The former could definately blow it, we are shit against the lower league placed teams. Not confident at all , relying on prayers mainly. We will either stick six past them or conced a late goal to lose 1-0

Of all the things that can happen today, Morecambe scoring a late goal to win 1-0 would be one of the most unlikely.

If they are level heading into the last 15 minutes, they will be defending so deep you could charge them for seats in the stand behind their goal. And your players could wave to them from behind the other goal.

Hoping Morecambe can survive today, but I’d say Barnet are favourites to stay up. I would be a bit worried if I was a Barnet fan though with a point benefitting both Morecambe and Coventry as above, no surprise the odds on a draw are fairly short.

One of those days when I'll be checking my phone a lot, especially if we go one up to secure fourth. I'll be just as interested in Barnet and Morecambe than I will be about Cov, Lincoln, County and Mansfield

Hello Sky Blues

Happy with that, hope we don’t crumble under the pressure of a huge L2 crowd, and always worried that after the first leg we could be out of the tie cos of how poor we genuinely are away from home. Very possible against Cov but it’s local both clubs get large away allocations, two great atmospheres, and big crowds guaranteed.

I think for us it will be a case of hanging in there at Sincil Bank and bringing it home at the Park. Good news is that we have JMT back and we rested Stockley today.

We've released our ticket details. Full price tickets. That may put off a lot of bandwagon fans.

Our away tickets at County will sell in minutes.

The two kick off times are class, going to be two very long days.

We should just about sell out the 4,000 at your place I think, whole generations of Notts fans who’ve never seen us in the play offs so we’re pretty excited.

It’s the correct tie for these two clubs, both chairmen will be happy

Allocations have managed to cut out any arguments as well, I think we were planning to cut it to the minimum allowed if we got Lincoln or Mansfield.

I think we'll give you up to 6000. It all depends on how many we sell early on.

If the prices were cheap we'd have sold out comfortably, however I know what Coventry fans are like.

If we sell big numbers tomorrow then you may only get 3/4000.

It’s 4,000 - two clubs had agreed it in advance and we asked for reciprocity on our big away end from all of the other clubs involved, hence we were only going to give 2,000 to any of the other potential opponents.

That’s fair enough , they couldn’t expect more of offering less themselves
