Mansfield’s away record is pretty shoddy isn’t it? 16th best in the league and more away games than home remaining.

Battle of the teams top of the form table today too in Salford v Exeter.

Another nervy day awaits.

Well this is going to be a mental end to the season! 4 points separate 2nd to 9th and then you have Port Vale with games in hand. Any of those top 10 could go up.

Terrific Sky interview with Omar Bugiel [Sutton United].
The guy is still held in great regard at FGR.
Remember when you and everyone laughed at me when I said you wasn't as good as the table showed? Now us and Mansfield are gunna over take you. False position as I always said. Yeah im so deluded. No you're shit.

Please remind me where exactly I laughed at you. I cannot remember doing so and I'm pretty sure nobody else from FGR did either.

You and Mansfield didn’t win your games yesterday and today though. You are currently not really taking advantage of our slump.

I don't think Port Vale will go up this season, absolute zero logic to this other than in recent history we seem to follow each other around, so I think we will both go up next season holding hands carrying on tradition.

To be honest you’re probably right. We need you to sort yourselves out this summer coming then we can go on a joint promotion tour.

I think there’s about no more than 4 or 5 seasons since I started going the Vale in the early 90s we’ve been separate to each other.

We aren't going up because you'll burst our bubble and end our season with your usual stoppage time goal at VP. You've done it to us 3 times ffs.

Although we have done it to you too twice.

Well if the improvements over the 3 games MH has had is anything to go by then I cant see anything other than us having a team at the right end of the table for a change, tbh not sure weather it will be a big enough improvement for promotion next time around as there's so much repairs to do, but I'm sure it will be a better season than this one and with so many out of contract end of season it will be a very busy pre season.

He's working with a really poor squad at the moment. I can't believe who has allowed that squad to be assembled, considering you must have a top budget. Given a summer, Bradford have got to be a force next season. I think our squad is better than theirs this season, so I'm hoping we beat them next weekend!

Hopefully, in a couple of years we'll both be out of this dog and duck league. God it's depressing.

We both said this around 2013 and still both ended up popping back for a few years! Thought when we won promotion then we’d be done with this level but alas Stormin Norman went rogue!

He is for sure and to add to that our injury record this season is also the worst I've ever known, but I think this could be down to Adams drill sergeant training methods, yes I know some are going to respond with 'Well it worked at Morecambe' but i truly believe he just got lucky there by inheriting a few very good players at this level and had the rest of positions filled by grafters/steady players which is all you need at this level is a few match winners. I'd say out of our whole squad there is only about 3 at most players worthy of being in a promotion side

Getting ridiculous at the top now, clubs seemingly incapable of getting into the promotion places and staying there. Anyone who can win three or four in a row will probably go up now.

Let’s wait for Gillingham to come down, properly get the old band back together.

Must say - Crewe, Morecambe, Donny, Gills, Wimbledon & Fleetwood. Only Wimbledon is a fixture I'd be looking at as good fun.

Need to get promoted ASAP. Especially if a couple of FGR, Newport, Swindon, Exeter go up.

Teams coming down look like they’d be weaker than usual but obviously the danger is the two potentially coming up.

Given that other results have gone our way the worst thing about this recent slump is having to read that twat Devon Lad making like he's Nostradamus for making the entirely obvious point that a League 2 team isn't all that. Stunning insight.

With Bristol Rovers and Vale winning yesterday they've really got involved in the promotion party! Can't really call what's going to happen in the last 10 games or so. We have Sutton at home on Tuesday, massive 6 pointer.

The one thing I’m looking at from our perspective that could go in our favour is our goal difference is among the best. In such a tight race you have to think that is going to come into play at the end of the season.

Yes I believe we have finally joined the party. Not that I think we will go up but at least we will give it a go. Yesterday unlike the brilliant first half at Crawley we were fair to middling with three superbly taken goals. Harragate wern't that good . What we have got is a largish squad ( although we still have Rodman, Grant, Brown ,Nicholson & maybe both Clakes still injured ). Every game is now a must win game and we need to keep the momentum going because consistancy is the key. Anyway on to the home game versus Colchester on Tuesday.

We've got Mansfield at home.

Two huge games.

Then you've a short memory and all is evidenced on this very thread. You're more than capable of going back and reading it all. I'm sure come May i'll go back and quote each and every one of you that trolled me about my correct analysis that FGR really are not a very good side and won't be running away with the league, while the FGR camp were working out if they'd beat Northampton's record points. LOL!

We gained a point on you, against a very in form Salford team. You still have Mansfield to play TWICE and Tranmere as well in there. We've just played Swindon, Bristol Rovers, Mansfield and Salford in our last 4 games and in those tough fixtures, we've gained 3 points on you. I'll take that any day of the week. I really can't see you winning this league, as I've said all along.
