Simple this, rank each team in the division in terms of how much pleasure you would feel at beating them. I'm talking specifically in terms of getting one over them, just in case you were thinking should be the same as the league table since the better the opposition the better it would be to beat them. No explanation of why is needed, you may not even know yourself.

Teams in bold are teams we have beaten this season (including cups). Italics are teams we haven't played. Quite satisfied that nobody in the top half of my table has beaten us, yet.

Barnet (although not as fierce a rivalry as with Poolies, I'd somehow enjoy beating them more)
Hartlepool
Stevenage

Oxford
Wycombe
Notts County
Exeter
Portsmouth
Luton
Yeovil
(mainly because they have a bell)
Leyton Orient
York City
Crawley
Northampton
Morecambe
Cambridge
Mansfield
Bristol Rovers
Plymouth
Wimbledon
Accrington Stanley
Newport
Dagenham & Redbridge

In this division, and I think generally, it's more about us than them and how we play. I was going to say Luton and the then rest but then, on consideration, I'd say:

Luton
Stevenage/Crawley
The rest

If you were to ask who you hate losing to, the list might be longer. Something like:

Crawley
Stevenage
Morecambe/Mansfield/Wycombe
Newport
York (at the moment)
Luton
The Rest

Yeovil.

The only real rivalry that I care about is Enfield, and it will be a while before we ever meet again in a league match. A long while!

* Edit - Add Newport as well as I just remembered we have them in the Cup next week.

Only County would give me pleasure in beating obviously for the local derby element. On the day the Bristol Rovers game would have given me some aswell if we had just held on but it wasn't to be that day. Other than that I'm not really arsed. Whoever else I can say we've failed to beat this season so far so it's disappointing.

Can't say I'm particularly arsed about anyone in this division.

I'm sure we're boosting our chances of people wanting to put one over on us due to all the pseudo-Westley crap we insist on doing.

I think the only two teams in this division that would really give me any extra pleasure from beating are Stevenage and Leyton Orient. Leyton Orient is really only for as long as Ian Hendon is as the club and with Stevenage it's not nearly as much fun as it was when Westley was in charge.
Now that we're no longer competing with Carlisle and Bristol Rovers to win the National League, I don't care any extra about beating them, we have no rivalry with Dagenham and the same goes for AFC Wimbledon.

As my fellow Bees poster upthread stated, if Enfield (Town) were in the same league as us that would be a different matter but that's not ever going to happen.

Oxford - played them 11 times, drawn 2, lost 9
Northampton - P9 D4 L5
Stevenage - P4 D1 L3 (League only). We beat them on penalties in the Paintpot Cup.
Mansfield - not beaten them in L2 although we had a perfect record in the conference.
Carlisle - never beaten them.
Morecambe - need revenge for the 5-2 last month.

Do you have a rivalry with both Enfield teams or just the one that used to be famous and is now 2nd bottom of one of the lesser Non league ?

Hartlepool weren't top of mine, they were probably second....
Then Paynter scored a penalty past us to make it 2-1, and celebrated right in front of our bench. That moment propelled Hartlepool to number 1, and 20 minutes later I was delighted with our 3-2 win.

I think most Barnet fans would see Enfailed Town as the club most in spirit with the original Enfailed.

County just as a local rival - though not actually a rival.
Luton - well, everyone hates Luton, obviously.
Northampton - seem to have a jumped up impression of themselves for some bizarre reason
Accrington - can never beat the bastards for some reason

Other than those 4, I hold very indifferent views, and quite fond of a few of them for some reason. Carlisle and Plymouth to name a few.

That was arguably the funniest moment of the season so far, up there alongside the Luton comeback after their fans' chanted 'why the fuck are you still here'.

There is no one in this league I care more about beating than any other team. We are a non-league side in a league world so any victory is welcome

well here's another chance to put Luton on your list,
of teams that have managed to raise supporters red mist.
but to me its obvious and not such a mystery,
that you lot are jealous cause you've got no history.
Oxford,Wimbledon and Portsmouth fans can also say that they will never forget,
glory days gone by before relegation and crippling debt.
so if being guilty of remembering and reliving better times gone by,
makes some of you hate us-I for one ain't gonna cry.
some are more bitter and pathetic it seems,
due to the frustration and stress put on them by their own teams.
however, there are some-and you know who you are,
unbiased posters who don't take things too far.

And it's with this comment that I officially relinquish my claim to the most pessimistic poster award. Ridiculous.

According to Outlaws, a few of them mocked Jabo and Gillead with cries of 'who?' when they came on.
Fantastic stuff. Both are much better than anything they had to offer, and both would have walked into their teams I would imagine. Most Luton fans were fine but it's always nice to silence the few who decide to pipe up.

And its this comment that makes me think you took me seriously when it was meant as a lighthearted jibe at supporters of 'proper' league clubs.

It's like every time they come to Mansfield they big themselves up and the "massive" come to town and decry us for being shit and not having many home fans.

Most Mansfield fans suspect it has to do with them never beating us at field mill before (in about 30 attempts

There are other reasons for wanting to beat a particular team, this is 1FF - not quite home of the lowest common denominator, especially on the L2 forum. I am glad you recognised the particularly pure motives of your friends at the Abbey.

I'm just happy to end 90 minutes against any opposition swerving an ear full off the other half for eyeing up young women in the supermarket or garden centre, so therefore I'm thankful of all of you and your wonderfully shite football clubs.

Many thanks.
