What with that massive city of Bradford now in our little league I think we should all introduce ourselves (again in most cases) so our newcomers feel welcome.

Hello, Grimsby Town FC fan here. Exiled in Shropshire, watch more away games than home these days.

Dislike Cheltenham, Stevenage, Forest Green Villagers a little and most likely Salford and Bratford.

Another exiled Grimsby fan, living in London. Also go to more away games than home. Only really dislike Scunny and Stevenage (or more to the point their security and Boro Chat) in this division. Oh and Salford, obviously. Looking forward to the Bradford accounts for 2019/20 being published so that I can prove to F-I-R-T-H-Y that I know more about his club than he does.
I don't feel welcome with all the Grimsby fans here
You need to up your game. I was looking forward to you being here, but you're having a poor pre-season. Has there never been any other Scunny fans on 1FF? There were definitely a few more on TFF.

I am the only active member on here. There was a guy called Hedonist Puncture who occasionally posted but don't think he has for ages. We also had the famous Lance Stoe who I'm not even sure was a scunny fan.

Hi, Bradford fan, increasingly tired and puzzled by obsessed Grimsby and Swindon fans trying to make out we’re giving it the big I am.
Unable to say we’re in for a tough season, unable to mention our squad actually looks alright on paper, unable to say I think Scunny and Plymouth look set for the top two.
Will continue to bat off the tedious bants which I’m sure will die off when we’re somewhere near mid table.

Vale fan exiled in the hills. Don't like Stevenage or any tiny ex non league clubs who struggle to get 2k fans.

We are looking ok for a reasonable mid table position this season, but we wont trouble the top 10, although even that is a major achievement after the last few seasons under the old regime. Hoping that the pub team from the Manchester area crash and burn, but other than that have no strong feelings against any other club in this league.

Vale fan from Leicestershire... could of supported the miracle Premier League Title winners and had Champions League football bar Channel 4 in the 90's showing regular Vale games on a Sunday afternoon and some wild urge to support those losers! (all be it we had a great side at the time sniffing around the Championship play offs!)

Love them all the same though and guess I wouldn't change it and will try and poison my two kids with the same love for the Valiants I have!

Used to go home and away (home games being 50 miles plus away!) but having kids has reduced that now to around 12-15 games a season the last couple of years which probably isn't a bad thing given how shit we've been!

Positive for the new season now the cancer has been removed that we can move forward and start getting back to where we feel we should be, patience may well be required though!

I've learnt to hate Stoke as a Vale fan, and never liked Leicester as most of my family support them... caused me a huge headache when Stoke played Leicester with Leicester going down to L1 with a loss and Stoke going up with a win! Was a tough one to decide which I wanted to fail the most!

Also follow loosely Werder Bremen and Whitby Town (Grandad played for them)

Feels like an AA meeting but here I go.

Bradford fan, live in a small village about 5-6 miles away from the ground. Wouldn't change us even though we have been crap most my life, just makes the highs so much better than supporting a glory club and been pissed off when they finish 6th in the Prem whilst never going to a game.

Dislikes Leeds(scum) and Huddersfield(the dogs) and got a dislike to Millwall due to them ruining our season 2 years on the trot.

Think we've got a good chance of top 7, maybe 3 and we should due to budget. But I'll just say hopefully we can achieve mid table in this mega division as not to cause offence.

Cheltenham fan of nearly 25 years (August 3rd will be the silver jubilee of my first Robins game) - season ticket holder who used to go away but now have too many responsibilities and not enough funds.

I don't dislike any teams really. I even have a respect for Gloucester City that I don't have for any other set of supporters.

Hoping for a mid-table season, initially it was a push for the playoffs but we're far too light in the middle of the park.

Hi, I'm Shoddy. I support Carver

Where have all the Carlisle fans gone though? HG was even a bit scarce earlier on. Big Dave seems to have claimed the title of third most famous Carlisle fan despite following Curzon Ashton these days. We seem to be shedding fans on here faster than we're shedding fans in the ground.

Hi all. Started life as a happy hammer, grew up watching Moore, Hurst, Clyde Best, Trevor Brooking and co. Major family issues when dad received a ticket to the 1980 FA Cup, and he went without offering it to me! Watched my first Argyle game in 1993/94, moved to Plimuff in 1998, probably did not call myself a fan until my boys came along. Certainly I now consider Argo my main team, and West Ham my second team.

I have been into playing, officiating and watching a variety of sports all my life. My wife has shown zero interest in sport until she came with me and the boys to Home Park about four years ago. She now has more knowledge of what is going on behind the scenes than I do. She gets very emotional at games. It was a significant birthday for her last week, and her favourite present was an Argyle shirt.

We don’t get to many away games because both lads play themselves on a Saturday morning, but we are intending to go to Cheltenham on Boxing Day.

I don’t think we will be automatics, rather the aim in a rebuilding year is top seven.

Don’t hate any team.

Another exiled Grimsby fan, recently moved to Cyprus so I could watch all games on iFollow without a VPN!

Dislike everyone else, because you can only like the club where you were born.

Hi, my name is Firthy.

I love horse riding, badminton and a spot of polo. I reside a few miles away from the centre of Halifax, so therefore, I support the mighty Bradford City.

I once attended the highest school in England - I use it in my many lines when chatting up Bingley’s local talent - works a treat. Not lines as we know them per se.

I very much dislike Leeds United and the dog bothering gets from Huddersfield. I work in financial services and love a good beer at least 7 days a week.

Looking forward to debating with you all.

*disclaimer: should I not respond to your post’s, it doesn’t mean that you’re right.

Another Grimsby fan here. Born in Cleethorpes but moved to Cardiff with my Dad's job when I was just 6 months old, moved again when I was 18 months old to Leicester. Sadly my Dad contracted leukemia (which was a death sentence back then) and died aged only 38 when I was just 3 and we ended up back in Grimsby where I have lived ever since.

Taken by my older sister to see my first Grimsby Town game in 1972 (last game of the season when we beat Exeter 3-0 to clinch the old Division 4 title) and been hooked ever since.

Worked for the same firm since leaving school (40 years next year). Go to all home games apart from the odd one when I am away and try to get to as many away as possible (usually about 10 a season), although one season in the late 80's I managed to do every game home and away.

Diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2008 and spent a total of 3 months in hospital in Hull in 5 separate spells over the next 3 and a half years having various operations. Thankfully all clear now, bar having part of my skull missing.

The only team I would ever wish ill on is The Bastard Franchise Scum FC but have a strong dislike of all the plastic Premier League fans who walk about Town in their Man Utd/Liverpool etc tops talking about "we" this and "we" that when discussing "their" team, when most have probably never been to a game.

Looking forward to the new season, as I usually do but normally the pre-season optimism has gone after the first couple of games.

My name is Dan and I’m an alcoholic. I think I support Swindon but with the DTs so bad and the blackouts I suppose it could be anyone.

I’m a cantankerous old c***.
