Would like an intertwining story with multiple playable characters like GTA V. It would be pretty cool to play as a lawman/sheriff and an outlaw.
Ooh yeah, I like the idea of that.

I think it's gonna be several playable characters like GTA V but never considered the possibility of one not being an outlaw/crim.

I haven't played a computer game since the start of 2015 (barring a bit of FIFA around friends' houses). Watching the trailer for this made me miss playing my old Xbox (which I've since sold) so much. Thing is though, I've got a baby coming in the next two months. How the heck can I justify buying a new console for the likes of this and the last Fallout? I might go all Kenny Powers and just try and buy it for the kid. Because every good parent knows that a PS4/Xbox One is crucial to the development of a young child.

You can't Tiger. I haven't played a game in 14 months. My son is 14 months old. I might see if I can trade him in for some money off a Playstation VR set.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
I've always put spending money on games etc ahead of the needs of my son and never had any adverse problems because of it. Well I hear the occasional thud coming from the cellar but that's about it.

It is almost upon us!!

60 hours gameplay for the main story. At least 99GB of space required. Picking my copy up on Friday afternoon so should be playing by Saturday night (Saturday afternoon if I sack the Bristol Rovers game off). All next week off work and stocked up on bourbon.

I'm not a massive gamer but RDR is probably my favourite game of all time so I've been ridiculously excited for this ever since it was announced. Can't wait.

Recently forked out a substantial amount of money for a gaming laptop, so I'll probably make this one of my first ports of call.

Arrived when I got home from work instantly installed it thinking it will take hours

It's 2 discs and it's been installing for 1 hour so far and it states it has 22 mins left

1 hour 20 mins is decent for the size of this monter

Got excited when I seen the pullout map, but then I orgasmed when I noticed it was a 2 fucking sided map!!!!!! On A2

Bye social life its been fun

Had itchy thumbs at work all shift, got off at two and was on my way to town to pick up my pre-ordered copy when Barnsley Game tweeted they'd had to close due to unforseen circumstances so had to get to other end of town and managed to get a copy from argos. Forfeited my deposit and couldn't trade any games in for it but couldn't wait while Sunday (going straight to football from work tomorrow). Downloading now and should be knee deep in cowboying in 45 minutes or so.

It's all a abit overwelming this game isn't it?

I love it though, the lighting and weather is unbelieveable.

Minor gripe is maybe it's just ever so slightly a bit too much effort maintaining everything for me personally, but only slightly and it's clearly one of the greatest games ever made.

RDR was already a near perfect game in 2010 (and I am still playing it on PS3) but now RDR2.
WOW, just simply WOW! Epic game.
Can't play anything else atm. This looks so fantastic (playing it on PS4pro), the snow, the atmosphere. Love it how they take their time to develop the story. Rockstar Games simply know how to make great games.

12% into the main story and so far it’s as amazing as I was hoping it would be.

Being able to give Arthur mutton chops is by far my favourite aspect of the game so far.

Christ anybody caught a big fish yet? Hard work that was.

No point using hunting for monetary gain, it’s not enough a lot better to pile food in the camp.

Yeah my one sale to the butcher in Valentine was very disappointing so all my hunting goes into the camp now. Shame coz the hunting was a decent coin earner on RDR.

21% into the main story but been doing loads of side missions and stuff so about 33% complete in total.

This map is absolutely brilliant. Spent two hours this afternoon just mooching about and still got most of the playable map to uncover. Just so much to do I kept getting sidetracked.

Has anyone robbed a train by themselves yet? I just did one and took about $40 from three passengers which I thought was a decent take for about a minutes work but then ended up with a $60 bounty on my head which rendered it expensively pointless.

The worst is when you forget you have a bounty for something you've done in the past in a town and then go to try and complete a mission and have to shoot your way out which means an even bigger bounty!

But still not as expensive as actually paying for a train ticket, so count your fucking blessings.

64% of the main story completed. It seemed to be moving along quite fast so I slowed it down a bit and did a shit load of side missions and that but now I’m doing lots of main story missions it’s becoming clear the main story is much longer than I thought it would be, which is obviously great.

I love everything about this game except for annoying little Jack Marston. Favourite area of the map is either the mountains or the swamps but the whole map is just visually stunning. The hunting was one of my favourite aspects of the free roaming on RDR and this game has just taken that to a whole new level.

Spoilers if you haven’t reached chapter 6 and Beaver Hollow camp.

I’ve never been so invested in computer game characters before. I wasn’t particularly a fan of Hosea but I was sad to see him go. I was gutted when Lenny got it though. There’s a real gloomy feel about the camp now and I’m spending much more time sleeping rough in the wilderness.

I’m hoping online is gonna be amazing too.
