You got that rightSutton to record their first win, as Kettle is a massive homer.
I do feel in the last two or three games I have seen of the Hux, plus a pre-season friendly, he is looking better. While he still runs in slow motion, with experience he does control a game better now.Saturday the 18th of September
Bradford v Barrow - TOM REEVES
Bristol R v L'Orient - DAVID ROCK
Carlisle v Scunthorpe - REBECCA WELCH
Cochester v Crawley - CHRIS SARGINSON
Exeter v Sutton - SCOTT OLDHAM
Mansfield v Rochdale - CARL BOYESON
Newport v Walsall - LEE SWABEY
Northampton v Swindon - BRETT HUXTABLE
Oldham v Hartlepool - CHARLES BREAKSPEAR
Port Vale v Harrogate - ANDREW KITCHEN
Stevenage v FGR - SAM ALLISON
Tranmere v Salford - SAM PURKISS
From what I remember, there's a couple of referees here generally considered good... Welch and Oldham and a few who have had bad reviews this season; Sarginson, Boyeson, Huxtable and Kitchen.
Never heard of David Rock before though he has been on the national list since 2019 and has refereed 26 league 2 games.
On Tuesday the 21st an old favourite appears for the first time this season I can remember.
Crawley v Harrogate - DARREN DRYSDALE
I'm sure John Yems is gonna love him.
No Trevor Kettle this week.
Seemed a bit finicky, but otherwise alright. The eight year old girl stood to my left was not a fan though 'this referee's crap' all throughout the game Just seemed like she gave a lot of free kicks for players flopping over... that said she got no help from her linesman at our end, he was rubbish. So Carlisle fans how did Becky get on at yours.
Managers Eh, Always have to be the centre of attenion, lolSeemed a bit finicky, but otherwise alright. Booked both managers at the final whistle
According to Chris Beech he had been complaining to the fourth official since the start of injury time about it being only 5 minutes given a lot of timewasting by Scunthorpe. Then when we scored he went and celebrated right in said official's face... presumably Cox got involved.Managers Eh, Always have to be the centre of attenion, lol
How was he allowed to ref argyle when he's an argyle fan?Huxtable reffed us once and knew someone in the crowd who gave him a Mars Bar, which he promptly ate. Not sure about that as part of the warm up?
We always believed he was a Grecian fan. A ref on Pasoti who knew him asked the question, and categorically the answer was that he supported neither of our teams. I think he was a fan of someone like Man Utd, at whose level he’ll never get to.How was he allowed to ref argyle when he's an argyle fan?
he's reffed us twice;- P2 W0 D1 L1Easy 3 points for barrow friday night! as the twat that cheated us out of promotion at wembley in may is officiating, the wanker bobby madley.
Darren Drysdale had a match that showed he is not up to the standard of league football tonight.
I've seen Mr Drysdale ref matches on the TV. He looked OK, a bit picky, but OK. He was absolutely awful.
Casey
Not to worry, just need one of your players to dive 5 yards outside the 18 yard box & the clown in charge will take care of the resthe's reffed us twice;- P2 W0 D1 L1
The words "Carl Boyeson" and "very good" should never be used in the same sentence unless it is "it will be a very good day for football fans in this country when Carl Boyeson retires".I thought Carl Boyeson was very good yesterday and thought he ought to be retiring by now as I first saw him at the Mill in 2002
Jarnail Singh's sons have followed in his footsteps. Sunny Gill is on the National League list as a ref with his younger brother Bhupinder running the line at Championship level. The words "Carl Boyeson" and "very good" should never be used in the same sentence unless it is "it will be a very good day for football fans in this country when Carl Boyeson retires".
One of the best refs I ever saw at this level was an Indian guy called Jarnial Singh who actually worn a turban when he was in charge of games. only saw him twice and he was excellent both times. Sadly he only reffed at League level for a few seasons before he was forced to retire at 45, which used to be the compulsory age at one time. Meanwhile Boyeson, Kettle and a few of the other "worst of a bad bunch" clowns are still ruining fans Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings aged well over 50.
The Graeme Poll of his time ?Mark Clattenburg was pushing his new book on BBC Breakfast this morning.
My god! What a smug, self-important little prig he was/is. Yes of course Mark - the game was always more about you than the football.
agree Mr Singh was excellent. Very good ref.The words "Carl Boyeson" and "very good" should never be used in the same sentence unless it is "it will be a very good day for football fans in this country when Carl Boyeson retires".
