I’m pretty sure McKirdy will be sold before the end of the month.

Thing is we might still completely fold if we concede like we did against FGR, fortunately Bradford were shite enough not to manage a goal.

We are definitely improving every week though, we pressed for the entire game yesterday so our fitness levels are rapidly improving (from a very low standard mind)

Surely any semi decent manager should keep that squad up? Far too much quality to go down.

With the squad we’ve got with a few tweaks/midfielders and the sides good enough for promotion let alone stop up.

The whole dempster saga from him being appointed to being sacked was an absolute farce, the mind boggles on just what was going on.

Next season I thoroughly expect us to be back up towards the top.

I'm a firm believer in one thing when it comes to footy, and that is that being the best or the worst means shit. You can have the best side and still not go up, and vice versa. But I'll just say that Morecambe are the poorest side in this league IMO. They've got shortcomings in all departments and not just up top.

i don't like to bring up the number of players that we're missing due to injuries and what not, 'cos this happens to everybody else as well and not just us, but we were down to the bare bones yesterday and they still didn't beat us.

We've performed a lot better since Adams has come in, we just badly need a striker. Yesterday was easily the worst home game since Jim left. No idea why we just sat back as soon as we scored, to sit back for 40 minutes and not concede was never going to happen. We totally bottled it.

I think there’s loads of us hoping you stay up, morecambe/Lancaster is a cracking trip and they’ll be quite a few of us from Mansfield stopping over in a fortnight.

Certainly more appealing than some non-descript southern shithole like Stevenage

I didn't realise that Stevenage had comfortably a top half defence. I'd just assumed they were shipping goals.

They draw a lot of games 0-0. We only beat them at our place 1-0 earlier in the season with a last minute winner (Doyle).

They are solid as always but can't score (18 all season I think of which 4 were against Cambridge last week).

Vs us they probably looked to be the weakest team defensively we've played when we spanked them 5-1 at there place. Some unbelievably soft goals also.

Our game against them finished 0-0.

I had an urge to top myself after 5 minutes and stopped in the clubhouse for the 2nd half, no idea how their fans manage it

Betfair have now reopened their relegation market.

Carlisle United 22/1 to finish bottom. Amazing odds, skybet only have us 11/1. It’s funny what one win can do. 22/1, for us to finish 3 places below our current position. Crazy!!
Get on it, strike while the iron’s hot! The odds won’t stay like that for long given our next 4 games are Forest Green (A), Mansfield (A), Swindon (H) and Cheltenham (H).

We're giving it a damn fine go. As I said elsewhere luckily Stevenage are proper dogshit, we probably only need two wins to be sure factoring that in and I suspect we'll shithouse our way to them at some point once Calderwood is eventually given the boot (tonight, hopefully).

Calderwood is only one of the problems though and if he's the only thing that changes before next season, we'll be a more permanent resident in here next season.

Might as well be 200/1. No chance are you finishing bottom.

based on that 1 performance I can see why you’d think that, but we’ve been utter shite for months and been getting worse until tonight.
let’s see where we are after the next 3 tough games.

35/1 on Betfair now for anyone still interested. Those odds will plummet if as expected we lose at Mansfield on Saturday.

I'm guessing you've put in a lay on Carlisle to go down so want others to back it - as you're 10 points clear of a very poor Stevenage side - who might not get 10 points in the rest of the season...

There is still time for ourselves to give Stevenage hope, we've not won away from home now for 5 games I think.............
