With due respect to John Coleman and his boys, our ridiculously negative goal-difference (30 odd worse than the Gas, IIRC) is an achievement of sorts...

You're becoming one of those teams who likes to turn it round as late as possible each season no though.

No one to blame but ourselves (and Adams).

We went down on goal difference after losing 2 of the last 3 games 5-1 and 3-0.

We lost 3 games this season 5-1.

Towards the end of the season we conceded 2x 90th minute equalisers against the Gas and Blackpool. Seeing out either of these games would have seen us safe.

Very, very poor season for the club. A huge backward step, so much money being invested in the grandstand refurb and hospitality facilities that we forgot that we are actually a football club first and foremost. Apparently we had the 5th lowest playing budget in the league - even so we came 4th lowest so STILL an underachievement.The squad we have (at least in the attacking positions) should have seen us safe but we conceded 80 goals.

How we do next year will naturally heavily rely on if we can retain Lameiras/Carey/Ladapo - all of which I'd suggest are unlikely. Oh and we need an entire new defence.

Hopefully Forest Green and Newport don't go up via the playoffs as we'll have a few 'local' fixtures next season. Shame Yeovil copped it as well.

I think we'll outscore enough teams to stay up.

Having to play higher placed teams than those scrapping for relegation at this stage of the season is not necessarily a disadvantage for us.

Still got Accrington and Gills to play away. Scunthorpe and Barnsley at home. 4 points will do it.

Derek Adams sacked... it might just be the boost we need to beat Scunny on Saturday and stay up.

Its weird to think had Plymouth players not thrown the towel in against us and lost 5-1 they'd have stayed up.
