For only the third time in TPLG history (321 weeks), the average score is less than 10 - following 2.5 (Season 1 Week 18) and 8.5 (Season 4 Week 4). So yeah, from the highest average score in 76 weeks to the lowest in 303. If ever proof was needed that midweek Prem fixtures are dumb...

Top scorer last week, Markface outscores the rest of the top fifteen and looks up to gatecrashing the top two. Unsurprisingly no real big movers this week. Veggie Legs gains two places while danbylfc and Nilsson drop three and two respectively. Benefitting from the latter, Jackinky moves back into the top five.

Role reversal as last week's top scorer G-Dragon and joint-low scorer smat pick up this week's low score and joint-top score. Blitzballer, the other top scorer, returns to first and opens a 23 point lead over Murphy.

Perhaps spoke too soon re: Markface entering the title race. Misguided faith in his side sees him fall off the pace and drop to fifth with Super_Horns taking third and Nilsson, bouncing back strongly from last week's zero, fourth.

Blitzballer remains top but has his lead cut to thirteen points by Murphy while Nilsson returns to third.

Mixed fortunes for danbylfc who leaps from 14th to seventh but exits the cup having been matched up with one of only two to outscore him this week. Eamonn the culprit, top scoring and climbing back into the top twenty. On the other end of the scale, James was incredibly lucky having been matched with one of only three to score fewer points than him. Jackinky, Mr Elmo and This Charming Mike all crashing out scoring the week low of 4.

Leewilson and Stevencc take their tie to another replay, to be played Week 25 (Sat 7 Feb). They will both need to predict the minute of the weekend's first goal to act as a tie-breaker should they still be inseparable.

Though no changes to the top six, it's got a whole lot closer. Blitzballer's lead over Murphy slashed to just five points while Nilsson is on track to gatecrash the top two.

Like danbylfc last week, seashell climbs from 14th to seventh. He's the week's top scorer and moves back into the top ten for the first time since Week 12. Your turn next, zawesx? Also a good week for Tony Clifton, the Season 3 champion climbing into the top 20 for the first time this season, and Smudge, moving up five.

Going in the other direction, joint-low scorer smat drops four places but the week's biggest loser is Cardsfan, who drops six after failing to meet the deadline.

At the third attempt, Leewilson overcomes Stevencc to set up a Round 3 clash with Veggie Legs, who he finished runner-up to in the league last season. That, and the other Round 3 ties, to be played Week 26 (Sat 13/Sun 14 Feb).

Outscoring him in a third consecutive week Murphy reclaims first from Blitzballer. Nilsson suffers a slight dip, allowing Super_Horns and Leewilson to close the gap to third.

Top scorer Veggie Legs moves back into the top 20 for the first time since Week 6. Much like the team I support, I'm the week's biggest loser. Fun times.
