When I lived in Edinburgh I used to follow Hearts as the majority of my mates I played 5 a sides with were Hearts fans. I used to love the Edinburgh Derby vs Hibs. Superb atmosphere and every game was played with huge vigour. A win over them at Easter Road was always incredible.

I've been to a couple of Sheffield derbies when I was younger also which were fantastic spectacles.
These are fantastic spectacles!

Hibs are my Scottish team, love Easter Road though not been for a couple of years. I’ve also been to a few neutral games up there. I find the atmosphere in general at Scottish league games is better than most of our home league crowds.

There was a bit of Tinpot bad blood with Ebbsfleet for us. They shithoused their way, as they often did, to a 1-0 win at VP and their antics were terrible. One of their players was winding up the crowd something chronic while time-wasting his way to his death bed then he alleged he was racially abused. I was right next to it and nothing of the sort happened. Or at least I didn't hear anything. The crowd in that section were adamant that nowt happened. Then they got relegated on PPG and well, there were a few cheeky wry smiles when that happened.
McGLASHAN, Jermaine, was the player in ?
I was stood about 10 yds away, And nobody said anything racial near me as he claimed.
Totally unsavory twat.
Now at Maidstone i believe, 33yrs of age so won,t have long left in the game thankfully.

That was him, absolute bellend. I was also close and it just undermines the whole Kick It Out, take the knee message when someone makes it up.

Definitely, the scots still know how to create a great atmosphere.

So was Bolton and Gladbach many moons ago............type it into youtube

I was at the Gladbach v Bolton pre season friendly in 2009 (not the cartoon version).
I was a STH at Gladbach, living and working in Gladbach, for four seasons and attend Borussia Park at least once each season.

There seems to be a toxicity to the rivalries in the South West / Thames Valley / Wessex area that doesn't exist elsewhere. Does cider bring out a side of people that beer doesn't or something?

Hmm, not really got anything to do with football though. The fact he is a Swindon fan is immaterial. I am sure Scunthorpe and Bristol Rovers have had "peados" as supporters as well. I dont see what you are trying to achieve with that. It would be like me posting on an Arsenal board criticising Bin Laden for 9/11. I live a bit of banter on here but dont weaponise someones abuse just to have a go at Swindon

I’ve refrained from commenting on Barton and his ‘antics’. One, it’s nothing to do with football and, two it’s a matter for his club to deal with.

If this worm is, indeed, a Swindon fan - I couldn’t be arsed to listen to 30 minutes of that - what relevance is it to discussing football matters on a forum.

Maybe this Gashead has got fuck all to get excited about with his own club he feels the need to drag up this nonsense.

If I were him, I’d be more worried about the fast dwindling number of his own fans.

Nowhere on that video is there any mention of football. You've made that assumption. (I watched it out of pure curiousity)

Anyway, sharing that video on a football forum is a little bit odd anyway.

I had an inkling there was nothing about him being a fan. But, hey, don’t let facts get in the way of being a cnut.

I haven't made any assumption at all. I know 2 Bristol based Swindon fans that have seen him at games and also someone on his Fb friends list confirmed it.
Bit odd sharing? So u like the thought of young Swindon fans being around the guy then?

I can remember a time when most of the Bristol Rovers fans on here used to be decent.

I smell a false dichotomy.

Either you applaud my obvious attempt at trolling or you like the thought of young Swindon fans being around a paedophile.

Anyway, you must know paedophiles are at their most dangerous when they aren't in public places. Hardly like this is on Swindon Town or their fans to deal with.

Not even going to the bother of watching it. Got to say though this type of material is not relevant on a football forum and should'nt be used to take the piss out of decent football fans. No more to be said.

I think its relevant on any forum especially when he could be rocking up at a terrace near kids?
