I think I saw a link to the league table prediction thread on TFF, so I signed up just to make that, it was a good forum with some good members otherwise I wouldn't have stayed.

I'd been using TFF for years. Then, like a drunken old skank, it slipped into unconsciousness during the night.

What about that 13 year old Bristol City fan? :(

I'm assuming nobody has him on Facebook. I don't think his parents would take kindly to a bunch of 20-40 year old men adding him..

Ive made it across, but it seems the other 2 Posh fans from the old site have slipped through the net.

I'm sure HoD will be here sooner or later, don't think T-Mase will though. I haven't got him on FB to let him know.

I'm here, was Tom_CFC on TFF. What happened then? Wasn't aware it was in danger at all.

Think one of the admins had a hissy fit at the prospect of this forum being created, even though it was given permission to be advertised... But no one really knows.

villaboy got very annoyed that a new site was being planned. He felt TB and saddlerad were 'dancing on the grave' of TFF and was asking why non of the older members were trying to work out ways of keeping TFF going. It was pointed out to him that it was made clear in the announcement that TFF was closing that there wouldn't be any way to stop TFF closing and that they weren't dancing on its grave but trying to find an alternative to keep the community together...even the old mods were saying the same things to villaboy, literally as he was having this hissy fit about people being disrespectful and people were correcting him (in his opinion no new site should be planned until after TFF had closed and the remainder of TFFs time should be spent reminiscing) the site went down.

Love it when a internet forum is taken so seriously by its owners. Grip needed.

I literally missed all that. Always found Villaboy a reasonable bloke, clearly there were many issues within the management team that none of us knew about.

A few people have mentioned it could well be an April fools that spectacularly backfired!
