Can't say many of us expected that. Sounds like we played well and deserved it.

Pleased it worked out just to annoy all the moaners who wrote it off before the game even started.

Sounds like we didnt deserve to be losing at HT either. Good result and seem to be moving forward since Christmas, let's hope it continues.

Well thats the reality check that's been threatening us for a while now. It was a fairly even game but fair play to Grimsby they punished us for some pub team defending.

I said you'd get some easy chances and you took them. We did miss a couple ourselves but even if we'd took them it would have only papered over the reality of how shit we are.

As for us, well I missed the Notts game, but the last 2 games I've seen Crewe and today our defence has been nothing short of disgusting and we WILL NOT go up if we don't do something about it, I can assure you of that. For starters Gillesphey shouldn't be anywhere near the left back position, and the Raynes/Brisley partnership needs broken up.

I'm sure Carver and co will come on here and call me negative etc but I'm just being honest, since Jones and Grainger have been out, we've been appalling defensively, and look a really shit team, a million miles away from one that looks capable of top 3.

Very poor today, shambolic defensively. Grimsby deserved their win, didn't have many chances but took them well. How Jabo missed I'll never know, would've made it 2-2 and possibly changed the game. Then at 3-1 Devitt missed a sitter.

We clearly need to do some business this January, mainly at the back, but I don't think we'll see much.

Good to see super sub Adi come off the bench and score on his debut.

I'm just delighted the dickheads slating Bignot are back in their box and the guy who called Adi out for being a Muslim on twitter has been made to look a bigger idiot than he already was.

HG I for once am proud of your thoughts on the match and I agree with you 100% on how things are right now and I can see this second half of the season being a struggle unless we make a couple of good signings this month which never happens anyway.

Surely Keef has to do summat about this defence for the Colchester game?

Gillesphey can't play at LB, someone needs to come in ASAP to fill the gap that Grainger has left. We've handed Wright an extended deal meaning we ain't gunna bring anyone in so please, please play him there - even McQueen will do. The Raynes/Brisley partnership is shambolic, they're far too similar to be playing as a partnership for my liking. I like Raynes, he'll put his head literally anywhere for the cause, but he's been slipping up a lot recently and it's costing us dearly. Brisley has been poor too but I haven't worked out whether that's down to him playing alongside Raynes or whether he's just generally not with it. Either way, one of them is gunna have to be dropped for Saturday.

Miller - Ellis - Gillesphey - Wright

Or, if Keef is feeling experimental, keep Raynes in and move Gillesphey in the holding role with Joyce in the middle while Jones is out...

Miller - Ellis - Raynes - Wright
Joyce - Gillesphey

Well I didn't see that one coming, especially as we've hardly been playing good football recently. I'd have snapped your arm off for a point pre-match. A very strange team selection I must say but it worked well especially in the 2nd half when Bogle remembered that he can be a bloody good player when he puts his mind to it.

Yussuf took his debut goal well too and it could have been 4 if Andrews "goal" straight from a corner hadn't been disallowed.

Plenty of appeals around me for handball against Bogle for the equaliser. I didn't see it myself.

Hope we can provide a really convincing performance for the BP faithful sometime soon, at the moment apart from Stevenage, all our good performances have been away from home.

Just watched the highlights, what on earth was Jabo doing for that sitter? He seemed to forget he has legs, then tries to worm the ball in. Devitt really should have got a consolation goal too, brilliant ball from Joyce.

It's just so poor from Brisley for the first goal, clear it away, don't give someone as clinical and strong as Bogle a chance like that. I'd be disappointed if there's no changes in defence next game.
