So believes he's too big for Everton and has gone on record as wanting away. Everton reported as to wanting £65m, which basically means he's going nowhere unless they end up accepting less. Far too inconsistent to be worth that much, that type of money is world class territory.

Might well end up in a John Stones situation with a player not wanting to be there and his form next season reflecting that.

The way Stones has been performing this season, £100 million would only be feasible if Lukaku was valued at £85-£90 million

Yup. Stones has been a bit meh this campaign, which I've no doubt has some connection to his failed attempt to force a move last summer. The rest of the team being shite didn't help either though. But it's always the danger a club faces when standing up to a player's desire to move away.

Stones just needs a good coach to iron the bad decision making he's prone to. No doubt he'll become a wc ball playing centre back. Still, wouldn't want to pay much over 30-35 for him.

Both are quality young players with the potential to be world class, Lukaku for me should be playing for a Champions League Club. No way Everton will get £65M but of course they need to aim high to raise the price up, I think they'll end up taking between £38-42M. Stones after a poor end to last season might have knocked his value a bit.

Stones will be an excellent player, one poor season at 20/21 years old in a Martinez defence with Tim Howard behind him and the likes of Funes Mori next to him doesn't mean he's shite. Defenders as well aren't always as mature at 20/21 years old like. Staying for another year with a better defensive coach would be good for him, but if Mourinho seriously wants him then a move to United would be more than fine, and he'd learn loads from him defensively. He'd be playing next to his England partner Smalling too...

Everton paid £28m for Lukaku so they'd want a significant profit for him. Not £65m but I see £45m+ being quite gettable. Fees for the likes of Morata are being quoted at nearly £40m and there's not a surplus of top class strikers about.

If this is true then bloody hell, that is the definition of overpriced.

Stones should move to Manchester Untied IMO, would be a superb move for him, everything is right about it. As mentioned before, he'd learn lots with Mou, be partnered with fellow England CB Smalling, will be guaranteed frequent starts and not a million miles away from Everton either.

Lukaku, on his day, is Champions League quality. On other days, he's barely Championship quality. Reckon he'll stay at Everton.
